NEP CRUISE CC4-SUZUKI BULK

Cheap and cheesy
I put this on my 2004 Suzuki DL650. It would not install without a little help so I ended up zip tying it in place while I tried to ind a more permanent solution. The first thing I noticed was that it looked and felt really bulky. I also could not get it to lock securely without it dragging when it was disengaged. When I went to start the bike the first time I had to reach around it to hit the starter. Not really a big deal but it just felt like something cheap and cheesy added on, not like a clean and well thought-out solution. I guess in the end that's exactly what is is though. I ended up taking it off after the first test drive and never put it back. Will probably end up getting a Kaoko lock for my new bike.

Might work for you?
Installed with no modifications on my 05 GS500. Ordered this expecting to make modifications to it like almost every other throttle lock on the market, but was pleasantly surprised when it went right on and worked perfect first go. Haven't been on a long ride with it yet but have been on a few short ones and have played with it to get used to using it. Holds the throttle tight enough to keep it in place while still being able to adjust it without too much force. Also has extra adjustment left in case it wears out a bit. The plastic is a little flimsy for my taste but it should be OK. It does not block my starter as others have commented about but it does block my engine shut-off a little bit. I believe it is meant to be mounted on a housing that has the throttle cables coming out of the front while mine has the cables routed out of the bottom. Personally I am ok with this as I would rather not have my starter blocked and I can still reach the shut-off and easily actuate the lock lever with my thumb.Tl;DRIt works well for me without modification and it's $20 in a market where throttle locks are either $20-30 or $120-$150+.

Great for a big ride!!!!!
I have ridden about 2,500 miles with this bad boy over the last few weeks and looooove it! Great upgrade for anyone who wants to put on some serious miles :D Plus you cant beat the price!!!! There is a big difference between being sore and hurting. This little guy will need a few good hard days of ridding to to break in but once she gets her groove on it will be pure magic!!!

Its worth a try.
Its a semi-universal fit, so maybe you can make it work. It took me a couple of hours with a dremmel, and i got it working perfectly on my 2nd gen SV650. It was a God send on my SV, and it swapped onto my buddy's 1st gen SV with no extra work.I couldn't make it work on my SFV650 Gladius though.

Works great on my 1999 Suzuki TL1000s
This throttle lock worked great on my Suzuki 1999 TL1000s. The installation took about five minutes and the tuning of the tension to lock my throttle was another three minutes. Less than ten minutes to have a working cruise control.

Works great, with a little sanding etc
Works great, with a little sanding etc.. Overall, love how easy it is to set and release. Obviously it's not a cruise control, as some of these are marketed, but a descent throttle lock, especially for the price!

Ligeramente satisfecho

This didn't work at all.
I have a 2006 DL1000 V-Strom with OEM heated grips. This thing did not work, at all. It would not lock the throttle in place. No matter how I adjusted it, it had insufficient clamping force. Perhaps it was a defective unit... I am glad it was not expensive, as I got exactly what I paid for. I ended up getting a KAOKO throttle lock, it works good, but at $125, it should. I originally had a Vista Cruise throttle lock, but when I switched from non-heated to heated grips, the Vista Cruise took up too much real estate on the grips (the heated grips are shorter than the un-heated grips).
