He wears it every time he's out working in the garden. He used to wear a baseball cap, but that didn't protect his face, back of neck, or ears. This hat does.His one complaint is that it holds heat. Said the mesh side vents don't seem to vent all that well and haven't done much to help keep him cool. His head, face and neck sweat more than when he wore the baseball cap. It felt good, very light and more comfortable than a baseball hat. It did not irritate the places on top of my head which had been frozen to get rid of precancerous cells a few days before. And it makes me feel glamorous.What a joke, but it does really make me feel better than my other sun hats.
