The Portable Miracle Ball Method Paperback – December 30, 2006

I haven't even read the parts the other consumers are talking about that has to do with exercises without the ball...Being the impatient & lazy person I am, I skipped right to the part that shows me how to use the balls for the part of me that hurts the most...low back...and I am giving 5 stars for the ease of use, and also the pain relief! I have arthritis,endometriosis, scoliosis, fibromyalgia and many more physical issues that cause extreme pain. I do see a chiropractor every week, but for in between visits, this Ms. Petrone's system really saves me from needing too much medication!Also,it really relaxes me and my blood pressure. I'd give it 5 stars for that!I cannot believe that these simple little balls and laying on them can do so much for pain relief.With the level of pain I deal with every day, I thought only something drastic would help me. Who knew it could be so easy?I will say, it will never CURE my pain..but what it does is to RELIEVE it until the next time it rears it's ugly head. Well worth it, though! I lent them to my chiropractor and she never gave them back because she loves it too..luckily I had bought 2 sets.

If you follow the instructions in the book, these can replace regular trips to the chiropractor for a realignment! I tried these years ago when I had chronic back problems and haven't experienced the debilitating pain since. Whenever my back, neck, or shoulders feel tight I spend some time relaxing with the miracle balls and it eases the tension and makes me feel loose - and mobile again. I now buy extra sets of these to have on hand as a gift to friends and colleagues who tell me about their back problems. I found that very few men actually have the patience to read the book and follow the instructions - so they don't tend to experience the benefits of this method. On the other hand, most of the women I've shared these with have come back to me with rave reviews.I also use these for long car and plane trips...amazingly simple, easy and effective!

"Don't leave home without it," we've all heard that one. Well, that describes how I feel about this ball/book combo.I bought the original Miracle Ball set, and I toted it with me to deal with back, hip, and neck issues. The day I learned the Portable Miracle Ball was out there, I bought one from Amazon. It's taken up permanent residence in my carry-on. Over a year later, it shows no wear and performs beautifully.For the record, I am a 'carry-on diva' who never checks bags on any carrier to anywhere, on any kind of transport, for any length of time. This ball, in its mesh bag, is something I make room for gladly. It actually fits quite well inside many Lexan mugs; you can stow them together to save space. If you haul your bag a little too far - it will help. If you have to go up a gazillion steps because the lift is out, the ball will help. If you've just sat immobile for too long through a bout of turbulence (with the attendant back issues, or even crampy, knotted legs), this ball will help! The book is small enough to squirrel away in nearly any bag.Make room for the Portable Miracle Ball in your bag. You will never regret it. If you're used to seeing a chiropractor when you arrive, or arrive home, you may be pleasantly surprised; if nothing else, if the ball helps you, that's just more money to spend here on Amazon. :)

Have used this product for the past year and it is very effective in relieving stress throughout the body by letting gravity do its job. By simply lying on the ball or balls your body's weight helps to release tight muscles in a particular area. Especially effective in the evening to relax before bed.

This one was for my daughter-in-law. I use to go to the ciropractor that was over 5 years ago. This helped a disk heal in my back and what it has done for my neck is nothing short of amazing. I have arthritis in my neck and as long as I use the ball consistently everything stays in-line and I have no pain. My husband used it to heal up from a torn muscle in his back, he thinks it's great too. This is not a hit-or-miss thing though you need to stay with it and it's not a pill, this is not instant. Best little thing we even stumbled onto.

It was the handbook without the freaking ball! Enough said.

Elaine's products are wonderful. I have the portable method and I also have the regular Miracle Ball. I believe that both of these, which come with books have a lot of valuable information, that this should be sold as a set. I have an older DVD, which is good for a visual, then when you read the books, you have a better idea of how to work with the balls.Have sent this as a gift to my daughter and she was impressed.Have lent them to someone that could hardly walk and she was so impressed as the ball hits the pressure points with such ease. This ball is significantly smaller than my original Miracle Ball, one of which my dog ate, the second a girlfriend stole. The bigger ball worked really well on my lower lower back, near the sacrum. This smaller one compresses to quickly/easily, even when inflated to the max, to do any good. This is not to say it wouldn't be fine for somebody smaller than me (6'1" 185 lbs)Point of review, just a warning: if you were expecting the same results from the larger ball get the larger ball. I had no idea this ball (Portable version) was smaller.

I have found these balls and the information on exercises invaluable for my self help therapy regarding anterior pelvic tilt and trapped nerve pain. I take the balls everywhere so that I can relax my muscles on a regular basis. My Chhiropractitoner has approved them also.

I chose it for health reasons because a therapist had recommended it.It is quite helpful and easy to use.

Really a miracle! I love it! And it is handy, ready to distress everywhere you go...Don't hesitate because every single $ is worth it!
