Aunt Jackie's Curl La La Defining Curl Custard, Fruity, 426 g

I have 4C hair and used Aunt Jackie’s Curl La La years ago when I lived in the US. I was so happy to stumble on it again here in the UK! It defines my curls beautifully without making them crunchy or dry, and my hair feels soft and moisturised for days. The smell is lovely too, not too strong, just clean and pleasant. I’d forgotten how good this product is and it’s great to see it still works just as well. I’m planning to try a few other products from the range now that I’ve found it again. Highly recommend for anyone with coily or tightly textured hair.

I ran out of my usual products which are twice the price of this and I needed something next day delivery so I took to Amazon an just clicked on the first curl defining product I could find. I had never heard about this product never read any reviews I just got it on a whim. Once it arrived it said I could be used on dry or wet hair and then you just diffuse your hair. Being lazy I just applied it to dry hair and didn't diffuse it. Bare in mind before putting this product on I had no defined curls and my hair was pretty much dry and a big bush. I went to sleep not long after putting this product in my hair. Waking up the next day and WOW!!!!!!!!! My hair was full of curls! Loose curls soft curls. My hair feels so soft and looks so healthy. It's not crunchy at all like other products I've used and it smells SOOO GOOD!! Definitely this is my new go to product!! I found the perfect product and it was totally by accident but I'm so glad. Definitely going to look into other products from aunt jackies.

This needs No Introduction it does what it says.... Enjoy... would recommend for a type 2c to 4c hair... Depending on your hair density and hair type a little will go a long way.... You can also dampen your hair to reactivate the product with water 💦 in a spray bottle...

Smells good enough to eat (but don't eat it please LOL) My daughter loves this and I bought it as a gift for her. She has quite a strict hair regime and this was not one that she had asked me to buy for her. I was very happy when she tried it out and her hair looked glossy and shiny. I tried some on my hair too and it smells devine. My hair was soft and silky after trying it out. I used a tiny bit but my hair is usually quite soft anyway but this did make it softer and really nice. My daughter however has curly and slightly dry hair with a bit of frizz. This was wonderful for her hair but she did use loads of it. I think the price is very reasonable for this item and I will buy more again when this is finished and get one for myself too. We do not have ethnic hair but I think it may possibly be aimed at that market judging from you tube clips I have seen promoting it. However, I would comfortably say it is great for all hair types based on my hair and my daughters hair type.

Been using this for about a year. Most curling products tend to smell of coconut, but this one smells very fruity, which is a nice change. I crunch it into my curls when my hair is wet to towel-dry, and it helps my curls sit nicely throughout the day. You do need to be careful with the amount, as too much can make it feel thick or heavy.

I've experimented with various curly hair creams, gels and mousses and I was excited to try this curl custard as it is free from nasty commercial parabens. I have very long loosely curly hair and this product did work quite well at defining the curls after washing and didn't make my hair feel crispy like some products. I have to use a lot of the custard due to my hair being very long and thick. My one big gripe with this product is the smell..when I am taking it out of the pot, the smell is overwhelmingly pungent and sickly which really puts me off but this does dissipate as my hair dries (thank goodness!). I would try other products by this brand but would have to research which products are less heavily scented as this one I wouldn't repurchase based on the smell!!

I am a young women of Spanish and Moroccan descent and this product is an absolute holy grail. I just got this product after my boyfriend encouraged me to leave my hair naturally. My hair is damaged after all the years of straightening and curling and so it’s always been very frizzy at wavy, when I tell you this product has completely removed the frizziness in my hair it’s bmade it straight at the roots and curly at the ends and it works even better when you use a diffuser it makes the curls more defined. The product smells amazing and the jar is full. Get this product if you’re a beginner in trying to rock your natural hair good luck in your journey (ps if you’re looking for a brush the Denali brush works quite well as it doesn’t break the curl)

I received the package earlier that the delivery date, it was packed nicely, the cream itself that it's not the first time to use it, I think it's very good for my hair since it's all natural, I don't really use it to defining curls, I'm using for styling also, it doesn't give the hair this plastic look like other creams and it's very gentle on the hair.

This is presently hands down my favourite curl product. My curls are soft and nicely defined, it isn’t too oily weighing your hair down, it doesn’t give you that crunchy wet look. The jar lasts awhile - and my hair is past my shoulders by three or four inches. The scent is very subtle/minimal.
