The balance is great and after finally getting a fine 10 to 15 degree edge it is highly recommended and will compete with the best of them. The steel appears to be of high quality and has a nice ring when tapped on a cutting board. I appreciate a really sharp knife for kitchen use. They are much safer than a dull knife that will slip and can cause an injury.

The knife arrived well packaged and very sharp. It has a comfortable grip, beautiful design and nice balance. I have not had it long enough to speak for its durability, but so far I really like it.

It is fantastic knife! I used regular knifes cutting vary kinds of vegetables. Today, I received this knife. I decided to tested it out with an onion. WOW! It cuts onion like it cuts a cake!!! Piece of cake!! Sharp cutting. BUT it is sticky sometimes.

Knife edge requires frequent dressing to hold sharp edge. Handle is nice, but knife is poorly balanced. OK for the price point, you get what you pay for.

The Sky Light folks are producing high quality blades for a bargain price. I have both this knife and their cleaver and find they have quality equal to much for expensive cutlery. Buy and use with confidence.

This knife is very sharp and is easy to use. The quality of it is also ok. I like to use this for all sorts of food because of how sharp it is and cleaning it dose not take a long time. Residue comes off easily from the knife. Overall, this knife is ok.
