1-Person Tent Backpacking with 1 Pack Inflatable Camping Pillow, Lightweight Tent Waterproof with Double Layer for Mountaineering, Hiking, Camping, Climbing(Trekking Pole is NOT Included)

I've been using the for a few weeks now. It's holding up well. It's light weight, the stuff sack has compression straps. No issues with condensation. Plenty of space in the vestibule. I'm using my black diamond carbon cork pole for it. I have a 4x7 piece of tyvek under it but I'm not sure how much it's needed. The floor is pretty durable. Better safe than sorry though. Tip for setup, stake 4 corners of the fly, then the back corner. Put in your pole with the handle in the reinforced part of the top and point in the tab on the ground. Then stake the front. After that, hook the netting up and tension it. It works great when set up right and is easy to set up. It packs quickly too. I don't remove the netting, just stuff it all and compress. It does not come with a footprint so you decide if you need one. Tyvek that's been washed a few times is quiet, light weight, and very effective. The pillow is great. I have a few different brands. This one has the best valve of them all. It's flexible so you don't feel like you're going to tear up the pillow trying to open the valve. It has two ways to open it. One way you have a one way valve so it is easy to blow up. The other, there is no flap so it deflates quickly and completely for storage in it's included bag. Seriously, a very nice pillow.

Spent my first night in it last night with a light rain. It’s fairly heavy but I don’t think you could get much lighter for the price. The rainfly is detachable so could be made even lighter if you wanted to bivy under it, which I may well do. Kinda bulky and awkward to set up, but not difficult. Makes enough sense to get by without directions. This isn’t an amazing tent, but for the price I think you’d be hard pressed to get much better. It’d be a good first tent to get towards a lighter base weight en route to a nicer tent. PS the pillow is worthless and deflated a few hours into my sleep

(Update 1 below) 4/6/18 I this tent and the F3 UL 40 16 pack. Both arrived in less than 2 weeks. The pack seems perfect, however the tent is missing the rain fly. Stakes, lines, patch kit, compression bag, all seem fine but as you know, this tent is just a bug screen without a fly. Anyone know who to contact to get my missing rain fly? Mistakes happen and I am totally hoping to be able to adjust my rating to a 5 Star. I love the idea of keeping up with the ultra light big boys, but doing it on a budget. I plan on doing the Wonderland Trail, in Washington in August and am planning on documenting these products for all to see in comparison to all my friends expensive gear.... (Update 1) I am a goob. This thing is so light, I could not tell the fly was attached. Be aware, I have set up several tents in my day, this one fooled me. There are no instructions but it sets up easy so no probmem there. Tonight there is a 90% chance of rain for approx 7 hours. I am spending the night out in it. Check back for update number 2. Took the 3F UL pack out, as is,(stock) no add ons and no removals, for 5 days on the OHT along with the 3F single person tent. 1 of the five nights, in a very big thunderstorm. I have to say that both products performed perfectly. I would buy the pack again in a heartbeat and although I felt a little cramped in the tent ( I’m 6’3” 250 lbs) I would recommend it to any one. I don’t think you can go wrong with either of these products.

Set it up after reading review here recommending doing the 4 corners and back before putting hiking pole in. It is not as sturdy as my eureka spitfire 1 but it weighs less and it much more compact and can easily fit in my backpack. Can't wait to try it out and glad I found it on amazon for such an amazing price. I always wanted to try a hiking pole tent but did not want to pay over $200 for one.

I just got this tent in the mail today. It is very light weight. With all items included, right out of the box, it weighed in at 2.8 lbs on my bathroom scale. The rainfly fabric is very thin and slippery, which I suppose is the waterproofing. I'm a 60 year old woman and I set it up initially in about 14 minutes. It was pretty basic, but I did have to make some adjustments once it was standing. I fit inside with room to spare! It has hooks and a pocket for accessories. In our July heat in Georgia, it became very stuffy in no time, so I took the rainfly off but wasn't sure what to do about the trekking pole. THERE ARE NO DIRECTIONS or photos to go along with the tent, so I had to just guess at what to do. After looking at the photos on Amazon, I noticed that the trekking pole in one photo is outside the tent, and it is inside the tent in another. I'd worry that the tip would puncture the floor of the tent unless I put a sock or something under it. I haven't opened the raincoat to see what it would be like for a footprint. I did grab 6 extra stakes from another tent as there didn't seem to be enough to set up the tent and fly properly. The description of the tent mentioned windows for ventilation, but I didn't see any! Maybe I overlooked something. I'd really like to find out more about setting it up. I will be using it for a 4 day backpacking trip in September and will report more after that. So far, I think I will really like it.

This is, sofar, the nicest tent I've ever owned. To be honest, thats not saying much because I havent owned many tents. This is definitely better than anything Ive seen at the mega stores and around the car camping barbecue week ends. How will it compare to big name REI brands? I don't know and I would have to spend upwards of 300USD to find out, which is why I bought this one instead. If youre like me and are planning your first back packing hike, the price is really friendly. I put it on my food scale when it arrived and it is 2.15lbs with all the stuff included. it packs down smaller than a loaf of bread. I set it up a few times in the back yard, not complicated at all and seems sturdy enough. Update: took this on a trip in January during rain storm and it preformed well. there was some condensation drips but considering the amount of rain and thick fog I was camping in, this tent handled it well.
