Good for making dosa, halwa, frying in large quantity etc
Item arrived quickly, packaging was good and the product was in good condition as per description. However the adapter supplied along with the product was faulty. I had to buy a separate 6V battery, and cut the DC pin from adapter to use it with the battery. After this "Jugaad", the stove started working properly. My view of the stove :PRO's :1. Starting the stove is dead easy with a cap-full of kerosene. No smokes at all!2. Once stove started, the fire gets very strong, and the water got hot very quickly3. No smoke was observed through out the operation4. The supporting stands are quite strong, can put heavy containers as well5. Loading additional fuel is also easy, no hassles or interruptions to the fire while loadingCON's :1. Adapter was faulty as mentioned above, which I resolved myself easily (Anyway I had to buy a battery because I do not have a plug point near the stove)2. A potentiometer to control the flame would have been better instead of HIGH/LOW setting - because currently the LOW setting itself gives quite strong flame3. Fuel gets emptied quickly (~ 5 mins), so the person needs to regularly attend the stove. Hence this is ideal for dosa making, frying papad's etc in large quantity, making halwa etc. This is not particular to this model, I guess this is how the gassification stove's work by principle

Fantastic for outdoors cooking
Just used this for a 3 night trek in the Himalayas, for 3 people. We cooked almost every meal on this stove (just one time where we also used a wood fire, as we were in a hurry). It works well with wooden twigs (especially fat short ones, so break them down), coal bits, paper, dry leaves (a bit smokey), etc. We powered it using a mobile powerbank. The powerbank charge %age did not change even when we used the stove for 2 hours at a time, the power draw is negligibleThe fan works well and the stove is relatively smokeless, and produces plenty of heat. We had some great meals.Along the way, when trying to build a big wood fire for heat, with plenty of wet logs, we used the stove as a ventilator for the fire, directing the fan at the wood to dry it and allow the fire to spread. Not recommended use, Im sure, but it was a fantastic solution for a hard problem in cold and wet weather.I will try further with fuel cubes to see how they work with this stove. Do carry a bit of kerosene (to start fires) and matches (better than lighters). Also note that 4 metal pieces fit on the top, to bear the vessels you use on the stove (we used pretty big ones, for example, a 7.5L pressure cooker will go well) -- those metal pieces can get lost when you invert the stove to clear the ash.So take care of them, treat this well, and it should serve you well. Bought this recently, so I cannot comment on longevity or how robust it will be over months. But the metal construction is great, and even if the fan breaks down mid-trek, the ventilation holes will still make this superior to a regular stove, air supply to the fire-compartment will burn the fuel very well.

Concept is good, it works but has design issues.1. The products is not rust proof, first use inside is rusted.2. Cable for USB to use with power bank is not provided3. Sticks twigs burn in seconds you need to revive the vessel to feed the fire.4. Clearance between vessel and stove is very less so you have remove the vessel to top up.5. Can't feed big pieces of wood. The inside is very small

Good product, but can be better
Very useful in winters. It can burn almost anything, be it plastic or wood or cartoons or paper. But the adaptor quality is very cheap...its plastic case broke down only after a week, although it is still working. Furthermore, the lowest speed level of its fan is too high sometimes - the fan speed should be lowered.I have a suggestion to the manufacturer: please develop a larger version of it, which an be used to burn household plastic (and other things) and, thus, will significantly help in controlling the plastic pollution. The plastic burns in it very efficiently with very less smoke.

Outdoor only if used with timber
Product does what it says only downside is size is small and you have to constantly supply timber to keep the fire running or there will be smok ,for that you have to have a hatchet of good quality to chop timber. Dont know the longevity of that combustion chamber but anyway if you can manage all these great way to dispose off your old junk furniture in winter in an open environment with an good hatchet.

Chulha
The product is nice and well designed. You need to make an extra stand to go over it so that the weight of the vessel is stable while cooking. The stand also allows the chulha to be dragged out for feeding wood for fuel.Overall nice experience.
