ClearBlue Ionizer A-800

Yep, the product keeps the water fresh and hugely reduced chlorine use, but I got lazy and let the electrodes decay, so the nasty green stuff visited our pool. I only wish the unit were less expensive, as well as the replacement electrodes (that last one to three seasons). Reduce the cost and increase customers!

Chlorine is a known carcinogen and is hard on pool liners and equipment so it makes sense to use as little of it as possible. For me salt water devices are not the answer as they simply make chlorine pools side and can be expensive for additional chemicals and replacement anodes. The salt water can be hard on older pools not designed for the corrosive salt water. I also found out that many municipalities do not allow sate water to be flushed into their storm sewers.I have tried 3 copper / silver devises on my pool. The first was expensive to buy and the replacement anodes also expensive. It also continually raised the Ph level in the pool. The second unit was OK but the supplier was not dependable for replacement anodes.I love the ClearBlue! It is simple to operate, it does reduce chemical costs by about 75%, the manufacturer is stable, helpful and dependable. What more can I say?

We have used the Clear Blue Ionizer in our 27' above ground pool for over seven years now, and I wouldn't ever go back to just using chemicals. The water is always crystal clear and we use 1/4 of the chemicals as before. The savings in chemicals pays for the system in no time.Very easy to install and maintain, and replaceing the electrodes is simple to do. Getting no-chemical info for water sanitation in the US is hard to find. I recomend this system to any one with a pool!

I installed the Ionizer myself, it only took about 30 minutes, after one year the electrodes are still OK and my water is crystal clear, Chlorine use very minimal, the water feels "Fresher" I have told my friends about it and they are in the process if getting the system, I did not want to boast about the unit until I have used myself for some time. I can only recommend it to any pool user. Besides the chemical savings the main reason for me was and is the minimal Chlorine in our pool water, anyone who is health conscious should install this unit.

I have had this in my tub for 4 or 5 years now and save tons of money on chemicals and the water is crystal clear without the smell. My wife would breakout when the sanitizer would go low but with this unit her skin is better. Great product.

Been using this system for over 7 years and it's great! Was easy to install/operate and saves hundreds of dollars each year. Chemical needs dropped right off and no Chlorine smell or skin issues.

I have used this ClearBlue ionizer for several years now and I absolutely love it! I will never go back to using chlorine or any other system including a salt generator. Very low cost and very simple to install yourself and use.
