The part of the item has broken. When I received it

Just installed, I'll return here if there's any issues down the road. Installation video and images leave out good info, glad I started on the passenger back window first. It seems that this item has possibly been updated or had some changes since the more recent reviews rate it higher. So definitely first remove the tiniest pieces of red strips (on top of adhesive bands) just below the "clips" or you'll never get to them (not sure how critical they are at this point tho). Then on one end start the pull-away of red strips covering the tape, don't lose the end of it and no need to pre-pull more than 2-3 inches that you'll need later. There's also a short length of pull-off red strip on the short side of the guard (about 2 inches long) that I started a 1/2 inch pre-pull amount to remove later; just pull a little and fold it over to the outside to fully remove it later. Last tip for now, for the front seat windows try to tuck the front end of the rain guard just under the black plastic behind the sidevew mirror, there's a little clip there. Watch the 2 other clips, get them in where they're supposed to tuck in and it'll go well. I did the passenger side first. Good luck. (This was for the version I got, which had a couple clips attached to the guard.)

After a short couple of weeks and some warm summer temperatures, these rain guards are failing. The rear passenger side came completely off. The driver side front is now only connected in the front and it flaps in the wind as I drive. The adhesive stuck to the car fine but not the product. Very disappointing - these things were not cheap. They were installed correctly but the product is simply inferior.

Had the product for over a year now what can I say looks like I need a reorder , The chrome started to peel off sadly …

The model and year were listed as finding 8n the description but didn't exactly fit the vehicle. Front windows were exact, rear is a little off. Otherwise would have been 5 stars all around.
