Worked first time: no leaks.
With so many of these parts being manufactured in China these days, it's commonplace to experience poor engineering and therefore leakage. These units worked fine and first-time however.

Good quality couplings
I used these to re-connect pipework when replacing a tap recently. They went straight on and sealed first time. I was very pleased about that as I am not a professional plumber.
