These things are great. So much quicker and less messy than measuring out each component. The pump delivery volume is not described very clearly and so can be misunderstood. Here are results of measurements I made on pumps I purchased. The large pump delivers about 0.66 fl. oz. of resin per full stroke. The 207/209 hardener pump delivers about 0.22 fl. oz. per full stroke; mixing this with the resin yields a total of about 0.88 fl. oz., with a resin to hardener volume ratio of about 2.95. The 205/206 pump delivers about 0.12 fl. oz. of hardener per full stroke; mixing this with the resin yields a total of about 0.78 fl. oz., with a resin to hardener volume ratio of about 5.45. With this information, you can figure how to use these pumps with other brands of epoxy. Just be sure to get it right!

Talk about "fool proofing" epoxy work
When I ordered these I didn't know they were calibrated for proper ratios of hardener and resin, so I was anticipating the continued hassle of measuring but with a nice pump to limit the mess. What I now know is every person that gets their mix wrong (using West) NEEDS to get these pumps. I have one on my 207, one on my 205, and one on my 105. 207 requires a 1:3 ratio but with these pumps ... one pump of each is the exact ratio. And to make things better, you can just leave them on the cans (although I do a single purge pump of each before mixing a new batch). Very happy with West overall. Very.

Must have if you are doing epoxy work! Makes measuring an even of amount of the 2 parts sooo easy. Just have to pay attention so I don’t lose count 🤣

Ad the title says, getting the proportion of resin and hardener is important, and these pumps make that happen.
