500PRO Macerator Pump, Sewerage Toilet Pump for Basement Toilet Upflush

This little pump was easy to install ,it runs quit, and pumps a lot of water quickly. I found it to be great for emptying my laundry sink. The manual needs to add some instructions on the vent. I found the simplest way to connect the output to the sewer was by using Eastmans one inch washing machine drain hose. It can be purchased on Amazon in either 6 or 8 foot. Only time will tell as to how good this pump is.

This was an aftermarket replacement for a failed OEM part. Works and fits well.

Good price for a unit that runs very quietly. I’ve had three different ones and they usually last about 2-3 years. Hopefully this one gives me more years of service.

It worked for just over a week and then failed. I hired a professional plumber to install it and I had to hire him again to remove it. Do not buy this. It's a waste of money

This utility sink pump empties its sump in under a second, with about a second of air-sucking after-run. While not excessively noisy, the motor does sound aggressively powerful. There are check valves inside the sump for the bottom inlets, which I did not use, and another check valve incorporated into the discharge fitting. Two tabs are provided to mount the unit to the floor, but it is necessary to drill/drive screws through the tabs at an angle as the sump overhangs the tabs. Flex couplings and caps for the bottom inlets are provided, but additional clamps are required. I needed to heat the flex couplings to allow them to expand enough to accommodate 1½” schedule-40 PVC pipe. Note that a full vent is required to be connected to one of the top inlets. A cheater valve (air admittance valve) is not sufficient as two-way air movement occurs during normal operation. The photo shows the pump with vent and discharge lines before installing a laundry tub. Full disclosure: I ordered this 2025 Upgrade Utility Sink Pump through the Amazon Vine program. My builder was going to dig a pit in our basement to house a large pump, which was going to cost thousands of dollars, so finding this toilet system was great. Plus, now the shower and sink can connect to the same system. My basement needed to move waste up 8ft and out another 10 feet and this works perfectly.

I installed this toilet pump in my basement bathroom and it didn't take too long following the included mounting accessories and instructions. I connected it to the toilet sink, and shower and I appreciated the four water inlets that allowed seamless integration of multiple fixtures. The motor operates powerfully and I have not experienced any clogs due to the stainless steel blades that efficiently grind waste. I tested the pump’s ability to handle waste water against gravity and I was impressed by its capacity to pump up vertically without strain. I also observed that the pump runs quietly and I barely hear it during operation which keeps my living space peaceful.

I have this installed in our pole barn to run waste water to our home septic which is just slightly elevated, Just a tad but that is enough. This was easy to install and is not as loud as I was expecting. This is handling a utility sink and washing machine. We are happy, and we would buy this system again. 5 STARS
