Original battery on my W530 was over 10 years old, it cannot be charged back to 100% anymore. You can compare the old with the new in the attached pictures. The FRU number is not the same as the original and the new battery itself is not as smooth as the original one when slides in because the plastic clip positions is a bit off (manufacturing quality not on par with the original). You will need to push a bit harder to get it fully engaged on the locking mechanism.

Hi All. I have purchased many of this companies batteries in the past and had no issues. I recently picked one up for a T420 (circa 2012). Works as expected. No idea on longevity yet though. if I was gonna buy a replacement battery for a laptop 3-5 year old I would probably stick with OEM, but for >5 years you can't beat the price for these. For example this battery was 1/3 the price of Lenovo's OEM. I can buy up to 3 of these over time for the same price as an OEM Lenovo model.

Working fine after a couple months but the real test is in a year or two. March 30, 2024 - Still trucking along.

Needed a new battery for Lenovo T-430. This one was listed as the upgraded version with more power / run time. It lives up to the claim. I now get 7 hours out of my battery. They've packed more battery cells inside, so the battery no longer sits flush to the case. It sticks out the back of the laptop by an inch. Still fits in my sleeve, and no problem in a full-on computer bag. Definitely worth the money.
