Perfect for a kid who discover about transformers

This Transformer was definitely not worth buying. It does not transform easily and all the pieces are constantly falling apart. It's arms and legs fall off every single time you try to play with it. We have other Transformers that do not fall apart the way this one does. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this.

A great value at $10.00!!! This is the baseline the voyages sculpt should have been, and not having a combiner gimmick really helps tighten up the proportions of grimlock compared to the recently released voyager class Grimlock . For budget constraints there are issues that one can find but I enjoyed making this figure a weekend project. The legs are hollow in the calves and the paint lacks for sure. But the great thing is that there are little Easter eggs in the sculpt in that much of the sculpted but unpainted detail is actually a copy of the sticker details from the original G1 toy which once painted looks great. Also it is important to know that there are two “right arm” biceps to cut costs in not having to sculpt too many original parts. Also just like the voyager class figure there are no weapons for Grimlock which is frustrating. This is a great figure for kids in its sculpt, durability, poseability and cost. And it comes highly recommended. For generations fans, this is a great stand in for your Grimlock needs and if your not interested in the voyager class combining Grimlock, I say choose those one.

Package arrived and had obviously been opened before, there was clear packing tape holding the package together. When I opened the package and removed the toy the leg fell off. It's clear this has been plagued with as you can tell the socket is actually somewhat damaged and worn out. All the other pieces also appear worn out and I've had to reattach them several times and my boy has only had it for twenty minutes. Will see if I can return it.

Not sure what is meant by “thickness”... package was in pretty bad shape when it arrived... looked like it may have been repaired with tape at the point of origin...this was a gift for my 5 yo grandson... he probably will not notice the packaging but I hope the item inside the pkg is not damaged.
