**Q: Can this be used in an outside application?**
A: As with any type of "outside connection", precautions should be taken to insure both ends of the connection (male & female) should be enclosed in a waterproof container ie" a "junction box" of some sort.   I have used mine outside during a rainstorm, but I had it contained in a portable - enclosed junction box to keep the connections dry.

**Q: What is the exposed depth of the plug body (nema tt-30p)  that plugs into the power source?**
A: The positive and negative poles are 18+/-0.3mm, and the grounding is 21.6+/-0.3mm

**Q: Will it fit for 50A 125/250v receptacle?**
A: Dear customer, yes, it does. As it comes with NEMA 14-50P to SS 2-50R RV locking adapter plug.

**Q: On the 50a male to 30a female dogbone, which hot leg of the 50 amp male is connected to the hot leg of the 30 amp female? X or Y?**
A: This adapter would be used if your plugging a 30 amp cord from the RV side to a 50 amp plug at the RV site.
