This is a life saver! I hate(d) cleaning my cast iron, but this makes it so easy to get off caked on food/residue. It's very easy to clean afterwards, and nice because you don't have to wreck a sponge or worry about soap ruining the seasoning on the cast iron.Scrubbing using this and hot water works great, and if you need something tougher add a healthy dose of salt (preferably coarse salt) and scrub with that. Works wonders and is so much easier than anything else I've tried.

Such a simple solution to cleaning cast iron. I cook almost exclusively with cast iron, but my husband is still learning to take care of it so they are needing reseasoning much more often and clean up isn’t so easy as when it was just me. He was actually pretty excited to use chainmail as a cleaning tool, lol. But I think it’s helping to prevent him getting frustrated and using soaps when it’s his turn to do dishes. Definitely appreciating this medieval addition to my kitchen!

This thing actually works pretty well for cleaning cast iron. The rings are just press closed and not welded but I haven’t had any issues with scratching. The two free scrappers work OK, it’s kind hit and miss depending on the pan. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with it. I will say that it’s best to clean when still warm. I scrubbed off my cold pan after having fatty meat in there and it took my forever to clean off the fat from my hands and chainlink.

Great little cleaning enhancer for tough, baked on foods that are stuck on my cast iron pans! I don't like the flavor of anything else popping up in my cast iron, so I quickly wash them in soapy water; but some stuck on foods do not want to come off! I have tried coarse salt and several tricks for trying to get the stuck on stuff off, but not every trick works. Therefore, I bought this little Gem! It really works!! The only thing is, I usually have to re-season the pans after really scrubbing with this, which is not a big deal for me because it sure beats pancakes flavored with fish bits! lol. Anyway, works great, cleans up easily and I'm very pleased with this product! I would definitely buy it again!

I was about to give up using the stove-top grill that came with my new stove. It was so hard to clean, it didn't seem worthwhile to use it. However, the chain-mail scrubber turned the tide. I couldn't believe how fast it cleaned the grill. Makes me want to cook every night!The plastic pieces are a nice-to-have. Don't buy based on those. The one with teeth does not fit my grill. But, the scrubber does such a great job, I don't really need to use this or, if I do, I turn it on its side and don't use the teeth.

I am very happy I ordered this. it works great for Cast Iron, but I use it for a bunch of other stuff too. Just an example is the Soap Dish in my bathroom. One of the scrappers fits the grooves and makes cleaning easier.

We use this for scrubbing the SS wok, the backyard griddle, and our cast iron cookware. I have gone through many brushes over the years, and this surpasses them in ease of use, decrease the amount of time spent scrubbing, and comes completely clean in the dishwasher for the next use, while maintaining our seasoning on these important pieces.

Works well as long as you keep it out of your garbage desposable lol
