Connection fittings and Gaskets fit and connect well. Bonus of a connector to adapt my pump to the same fitting type.

This hose is great and strong but it is a pressure rated hose so my use off a gravity draining 300 gallon tank isn’t quite enough pressure to keep it from laying flat in some places and linking slightly. But it serves good enough! Built very well
