A Rubber hose is good to go with most any fuel but better gasoline with NO ETHANOL does not leave a residue inside the fuel line To prevent LEAKS start with a tight fit iat the connector fittings and stainless steel hose clamps are good to be able to take apart the fuel line to clean residue from cheap gas that eats plastic and gums up rubber removeable hose fittings make good sense

Yes. You need Teflon lined or nylon hose if you're trying to pull that much vacuum.

Will it work for PCV hose? Some reviews say it collapses? Does anyone know for sure that has used it for PCV venting?

This is an automotive fuel line hose with a narrow opening it will compress and deform under pressure you can park a car on it ? that would restrict air or fuel from flowing until the weight is removed then return to original shape .....PCV will crack

this is not fuel line, it just starts to disintegrate, you end up with slimy black all over your hands once it is exposed to fuel. need to rip it all out and start again.
