Looks actually stunning. I have pretty well designed bathroom and I thought a geyser might be a dark spot, but not this one. This actually enhances, the design is cool and the controls are in the right places which gives van premium look, awesome job It has a basic temperature indicator which is like a needle in Speedometer, shows actual heat as compared to just cutoff, which is very near idea It has a temperature knob which is regular, but it also has a voltage selector which gives you control on input power, for people like me who are obsessed with power consumption, this is a dream Price point is just perfect and with all features that this gives I don't think you can find another such brand. We felt so good about it we purchased an OTG from same brand After a year of usage am yet to find huge flaws but some things I noticed are 1. Initially it was so silent you will not know if it's on/off bit off late we hear a very tiny sound (the one you hear when boiling water in stove) but most of my family members don't even notice that but I sometimes do. This may be due to the hard water deposited inside 2. Am not sure if this is a flaw or that's how it works, when I close the input valve I don't get any water, I thought geyser should store water so that we can use it even when there's no input.. I think that's how it should work but it doesn't Apart from these 2 everything else is a breeze.. these are also not flaws just being picky coz I have used it quite extensively, we also have a Havells in another room but this one is lot quicker in heating 15 mins. Just brilliant product.

This product is exactly as described by seller. The quality finish and powder coating is excellent. Many say it’s a Chinese product so what.? The seller may have used certain marketing strategies but that does not bother me. Are your mobiles made in USA? So stop complaining. I think this is a premium quality product even if finished or made in China or for any reason assembled in India it is manufactured considering the 5 star rating of Indian standards. The packing is quality standard and includes warranty card, manual, safety valve for inlet, and two bolts 4 inch for hanging the geyser. The electric plug 3 pin 15 amps is fused and attached to the cable. The knobs and indicator lights are all user friendly and informative. There is also a temperature gauge at the top of the geyser which works when your water starts to get hot. One can change the settings of the thermostat once you see the temperature gauge and adjust how much hotter you want to set your thermostat cut off to precisely. Price wise it is very economical for 25 ltr capacity and much cheaper compared to other brands. Now it all depends how long it works. Seller has provided 2 years warranty on the Geyser. Email and toll free number of service is provided. Looks of the geyser is very good and equally in par with major brands. Surely recommended. I have put my settings of 1st knob voltage at III (2000watts) & Thermostat setting at "E". After the water is heated to the required temperature the red light on the geyser (for heating element) goes off. The Green light is the ON indicator of the Geyser which stays always ON to show geyser is working perfectly. On my 2 days of usage no complaints and everything works perfectly. My settings for using higher wattage is basically it takes less time to heat. Simple logic is the higher the wattage the faster the heating element will heat the water however, it would take more electricity. If you want to stay economical I suggest put the 1st knob setting at 1200 watts (II). It would take longer time to heat the water though. I have given all details in concise and precise manner for all fellow colleagues wanting to buy this Geyser. Those having any questions please ask and I would try to answer them. Only drawback is it does not come with the connection pipes. It is not a big deal ,can be purchased at your local hardware store. Surely you need a plumber to assist you in hanging the geyser and fixing the connection pipes. Just a word of caution: Please ensure after the fittings are done open the water and let the geyser fill itself up fully and you draw out water from your hot tap. Once water flow from your Tap is smoothly flowing then only put the power of Geyser ON. This is a precaution for the element.

I have purchased American Micronic Water Geyser of capacity 15 Liters after a through research on internet. My requirements are 1. 5 Star Bee Rating 2. Glass Coating of the Inner Tank & Heating Element that could manage Hard Water 3. Anode that could dilute the harder ions 2. Build Quality 3. Temperature Adjustment 4. Temperature Display of the hot water This particular Water Geyser model (American Micronic AMI-WHM3-15LDx) fulfilled all my requirements and in addition i have got the wonderful additional feature is that Power wattage Selection from 800W 1200W & 2000W. Review After Using for 3 Days i have selected the Power Wattage of 1200W and medium Temperature of the Thermostat (Water Heater) and the water got reached to 50C with in 20 Minutes and the hot water could enough for two persons bathing by mixing the regular water. I am fully satisfied with my purchase of this particular water geyser. The only glitch is that the geyser comes along with 16 MM Anchor bolt hooks the hooks are high quality standard and would be capable of holding even 35 Liter Water Geyser. As i am having only 15 liter one i got 10 MM regular screw hooks and installed by my self. Guys you may think this is bit costlier than the available Geysers on the market but it is value for the money and according to myself Quality matters and single investment than spending time and money afterwards on any manufacturing defects. I will be updating my review after further using of the Geyser.

Packaging: Excellent packaging. The package came with a 25L unit, a user manual, a safety valve, and a pair of anchor fastener hooks. Note: The product was in an excellent condition at the time of receipt. Installation: As an additional electrical outlet was required, took some help from an electrician. An RCCB at the electrical point and an MCB (at DP box) were installed for the safe operation of the instrument. The anchor fastener hooks have kindly been installed by the electrician as well. The plumbing part have been very simple as it required a pair of inlet and outlet pipes (specific for any geysers could be bought at a hardware store for ~ ₹ 250), a pipe wrench (could be bought under ₹ 500 on amazon), a thread seal tape, and an inlet valve (if needed) for cold water supply. It took about 2 hours in total after creating an electrical outlet ( ~ 5 hours in total for the whole installation process at my home). Performance: The very first use (at 16 hours from the installation - ~ 2 hours 30 mins with the power supply ON): Used the instrument for ~ 5 hours and so far it has exceeded my expectations. Set the temp at 52.5 C (Details: in total 9 markings, i.e. 30, 35, 40, 45...75. The interval between the two markings is of 5 degree C (Calculation: 75-30 degree C/9 markings)), and Wattage at the set point marked as "I" (800 W). The geyser took ~ 45 minutes to reach the 52.5 degree C (Details: inlet cold water temp at 6 pm was 32 degree C* so, the change of 20.5 degree C was attained in an ~ 45 minutes*). Turned on the geyser the next morning around 6:15 am. The heating turned on for a few mins (5-7 mins*) after ~ 7 L hot water has been drawn each time. 72 hours after installation: Kept the geyser's power supply ON for ~ 20 hours during the 72 hours period in order to check the heat saving capacity of the water tank. The heating turned ON intermittently during the time in which the hot water was not drawn which suggests that the tank could hold warm water very well. So far, completely satisfying experience. *Please note that the conditions vary from household to household. Gor example, the need at my home is of ~ 7 L of 45 dgree C to 52 degree C hot water (at an interval of 30 mins for 3 hours in 3 different bathrooms - one on the ground floor and the two on the first floor) from a geyser (placed above the bathroom at the ground floor) connected to an overhead 1000 Ltr tank so, the required wattage and the time to reach the desired temperature of the hot water will depend on one's own requirements.

Detailed review: Long review ahead. I am using this water Geyser for about 2.5 years hence I am eligible for pros and cons. Time taken to heat is high when compared to peers. (either give up 5 star rating or energy loss. You can't be centric here) Once heated using max it will suffice for bathing with shower (25 mins+ required) If you are using e (economy mode I believe) then for bathing using tub will suffice. (15 mins required) I have removed the Geyser for cleaning as it's been years and scaling has occurred as I was in Rented house. After shifting to my house I wanted to clean up. Review on internal stuffs: * Tank material was amazing non sticky material (that was the reason heat doesn't goes away) * Thermostat was above average I won't say it's the best but was good * Wiring (you can't remove safely as it's highly sealed you might need to heat and stick it back I removed as whole to avoid damages on wiring. I was lazy to do other stuffs) was too good. Over all It's good for those who can wait at least for 15 mins to heat else go for less rating (power consumption might be higher for low rating) Temperature control work for 35 to 75 degree only which is not digital. (it works when power is switched off too you can add as advantage as well) it will take time for you to identify and get right spot for the temperature. Please find the reference image. Please do not try unless you are a technical person. High risk attached. Take care. Again I tried to purchase as the product was good ( Purchased two quantity) Which turned to be broken one after replacement again they have sent me a broken item ( So out of 4 items 3 items are broken one). If i keep on replacing it would be a time consuming one. Initially thought the product delivery person is rough handling it but this time packing was perfect as requested but inside the box the item is broken. So this seems to be the person in the warehouse knows that its broken item and they are sending to us as packing was perfect ( It has thermocol which is in good condition). If you guys are having time please proceed to purchase else go for another product.

02 Dec 2016: 2 star to 3 star: The very reason for editing the review is that American Micronic people are accessible and are able to communicate well. Hopefully, their customer service becomes even more friendly. Well, 3 weeks after writing the initial review, I got a call from American Micronic regarding the below mentioned problem. I was promised a service guy would be sent for checking the problem. I accepted. But, again, no service guy turned up; and I was offered some cash for getting service done from local guys towards re-installation. I had to pack the old geyser; A representative would pick it up and send me a new geyser after a couple of days. I could not accept the offer since I wanted new geyser to be installed immediately as I need hot water most times of the day for my family. Slow geyser would be better than no-geyser even for couple of days. I am happy that at least there is some person on the other end to listen and respond. 13 October 2016: The last geyser I used of Johnson make worked for some 25 years, with occasional breakdowns. With the new American Micronic geyser, I would say, I liked the old geyser. There are certain problems with American micronic geyser; I am not sure if it is by design or I have a faulty unit. Tried contacting customer care, but response at all. With power mode set to 800W and heating set to Eco (E) mode, to get 1 bucket full of hot water, I need to wait for 50 minutes. After that, the water is hardly warm. I tried putting power mode to highest wattage and heating set to moderate temperature, even with this, the heating light is switched ON even after half an hour. Effectively, I cannot even get 2 buckets of hot water in one shot. I strongly recommend buyers to buy a brand which has proper service network or repairable by local service guys. I was banking on 2 year replacement warranty, but it looks like they are not even reachable.

Decided to go for this product after reading its reviews. American Micronic geyser is impressive (based on user reviews and my experience in the last one month) compared to other horizontal water heaters I have posted few photos of the product and its accessories so that anyone can visualize what will be in the box. 1. One long transparent nylon hose 2. Two mounting bolts (It is so designed that the geyser has to be just hung onto the bolt 'J' end 3. One non return valve. Pro's: 1. Comes with power cable with the 15amp power plug. (some makers do not supply power plug) 2. Power cable about five and half feet long. 3. Both inlet and outlet pipes are located at mid length. So there is no need to specify it as left handed or right handed 4. Very good heat conservation for a long time, thus energy efficient 5. A novel feature of 'heat indicator' in the form of a dial indicator. 6. Very prompt response via e-mail and phone calls for the technical queries raised during the product study phase. Con's: 1. The fixing bolts are too long (approx. 4 inches) and big diameter. Unable to drill so deep holes where the concrete column comes in the way of the bolt holes. (Later used shorter bolts brought from market). 2. No authorized installation partners provision. Have to call for external agencies for installation. 3. The transparent nylon hose cannot be connected to the pressure relief valve outlet. Has to be gently heated to assemble. 4. Dynamic pricing is disappointing (price dropped steeply after my purchase)
