NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUPCream Blush, Hot Pink, 0.12-Ounce

I am well acquainted with NYX cream blushes and own a number of shades. The shade I recently purchased was Red Cheeks and it is very red. My pictures make the blush look pink but it is a true candy apple red. I wanted this shade because I have looked washed out lately with my mauves and plum shades and wanted to brighten up. I have medium skin that is pale with no natural blush to my cheeks. I use a very small amount of this cream and dot it on to one cheek at a time then blend with a soft brush. I sometimes apply a powder blush over it and sometimes leave it as is.I find this shade is not garish or clown-like when used sparingly. It gives me the glow I want and looks very natural. If I apply too much then I will look like Ronald McDonald so I always under apply and add a bit more if needed. The blush lasts for a number of hours on my face without fading. Much of that has to do with good primer and a soft translucent powder over it. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and a compact lasts for ages and ages. Although Benefit's Benetint is my all time favorite red blush, that is a liquid and is much subtler than NYX's cream blush. I am happy with this and other NYX blushes. They seem to be as good as the high priced blushes I have. You just have to apply this shade with a very light touch to avoid looking unnaturally flushed.

This has become the #1 used blush in my makeup stash! (& I have A LOT lol ;D)I have 30yr old, very fair, warm toned skin for reference, but think that this blush is great for any season, outfit, OR skintone! It's cream, not powder & quite pigmented, so it's imparitive to use a light hand w/this or you *will* get the "clown cheeks" look ;D Lol!For application I like to use a wedge sponge or a dense fndtn brush, then blend out with fingers or sponge. It's the perfect "in from the cold, I'm naturally blushing" look, which is the look I prefer on a daily basis b/c I like to play up my eyes and/or lips. I highly reccomend this & will continue to repurchase :)The only issue I have is the way that Amazon packaged it to send me.. I clicked the option to "send all of my items at once" but they decided to package this blush (and ONLY this blush)separately...It arrived alone in the largest possible size yellow envelope, w/no bubble wrap! Needless to say the lid was cracked&broken in 3 different places & I had to pick pieces of plastic out of my cream blush :( I was able to tape it all back together but it's very flimsy now & I cant carry it in my purse or the peices of plastic get all through my product again...VERY DISAPPOINTING AMAZON!! I did leave Amazon.com negative "packaging feedback" but didn't ask for a refund or replacement bc this was only $6. Had it been more expensive this would have been a *BIG* problem.. &I will think twice before ordering cosmetics from Amazon again which is unfortunate b/c NYX products aren't available in my area which is why I purchased from here in the 1st place.. -This is just a friendly warning..If *YOU* are thinking of ordering this blush from Amazon, I'd definately call the 800# & politely ask that they bubble wrap this before sending :)Otherwise, I do very much *LOVE* this blush!! :D

I don't know how everyone says Glow is the most natural color, it's hot pink. In the photo it appears to have a coral pink tone but it's definitely hot pink. I know colors show differently on screen for everyone so it's my own fault for not googling swatches first (seriously, I'm usually pretty good about this, so just google swatches and see for yourself). I was looking for a nice pink coral flush for my cheeks but this is just another bright pink cream to add to my collection. It applies beautifully, is just the right amount of sheer/pigment for blending. It would be best for someone who likes a more moist cheek cream though, it reminds me of potted lip balm in texture, it's definitely not a cream to powder finish. Pinks look nice on me in the winter but I was shopping for a summer blush with some orangey warmth to it. This is pink red, not pink orange.

You always take a chance when ordering cosmetics on line, but I really wanted to experiment with a new creme blush and the price was right on Amazon with free delivery. The color is just right for me, it has great blendability and of course, you can build to add color intensity. For daytime, I like just a flush of color but for occasions, I go for a little more intensity.This NYX product has excellent staying power. I feel that this creme formula gets me away from the dry look that I can sometimes get from powders. I am always on the lookout for new cosmetics to try, and this one was worth the few dollars that it cost to get a fresh look. For the record, I have red hair and medium light complexion and it worked well. This is very, very highly concentrated, so you can count on the little compact lasting forever.

The Boho Chic color is, as others have said if I had dug deeper into the reviews, nowhere near the color pictured. The color pictured was the same as a revlon blush I used to love and I got very excited to see it in the same kind of cream blush in a flip top container I like. Revlon wrecked my favorite cream blush and put it in a screw top container so I lose the tops all the time. Anyway, I was so excited thinking I had found a replacement, and the color I got is super pale pink - paler than my actual skin. Definitely doesn't accent my skin tone or cheekbones. Looks kind of comical on me actually. The texture is nice and I like the packaging, but I don't see the right color for me, and it is hard to trust since the photo is so off anyway.

Soft liquid not powder., only need little bit. Shocking bright bright pink. It will last more than six months Great!

Brilliant quality

I bought this item because of all the good reviews but I find the product hard to spread. I also find the colour too pigmented so end up looking like I have clown cheeks. Need to apply very little and need to use stiple brush to blend in. The colour itself is very pretty and it does last longer than powder blush so i still give it 3 stars.
