Amazon will you be my new baby mama?
I love you Amazon! Sure, love is a strong word, but don't worry my Amazonian princess, we can take it as slow or fast as you want. Let me tell you though... When you provide such awesome products at such a cheap price you blow my mind - not my wallet - unlike some of my past relationships. Don't worry though Amazon, even though my ex-websites be cray-cray, and even though eBay is my baby-mama, I'm all yours. ...Anyway... These speaker mounts really are a killer deal for the price. I had no issues getting my Logitech Z906s mounted to the wall. For my rear speakers I picked up some mono price stands, which sadly, did NOT fit my speakers properly. The screws were too small! Fortunately, I had extra mounting screws in the VideoSecu 5-pack I ordered and was totally bailed out. I love it when you find affordable products like this that actually do what they claim... It can be few and far between. That said, due to the price, straightforward installation, extra hardware and decent instructions, they score 5 stars. Details if you care: - Secure enough not to fall off my wall. - Includes sheet rock installation hardware. - I recommend getting your drill out for the install (for the wall portion anyway.) - Don't over tighten anything. Hand tight is good enough! These aren't going to hold up well to Hulk-style tightening. You've been warned! - I used these to mount my Logitech Z906 speakers and they fit great. I've read that these work with other Logitech models as well. I can't vouch for any other brands but they seem quite universal. - I was worried because I have a single screw hole in the back of my speakers and none of the pictures show, in detail, a similar setup. Never fear. Buy them and try them! They worked fine for me and are cheap enough to take a chance on if you're unsure. - You are able to turn the speakers vertical, horizontal, or any direction in between. You can point them up or down. - If I'm not mistaken you could easy hide the speaker cable on the mount itself to make it look a bit cleaner. But you know... Some of us prefer the floppy trashy look. ;) Best of luck! Hope the review helps!

Durible, reliable options for a reasonable price!
I bought these mounts to go with the new satellite speakers for my Logitech Z906 system. Short and to the point: they work perfectly! I really like that they came with all the necessary mounting hardware (and then some). This means no headaches or troubles after the fact. Each mount is individually bagged with its own kit of mounting gear, making hardware detection a breeze, as there is no sorting through a consolidated mess of hardware. Perhaps the thing I liked the most, however, was the option to have a short mount or extended mount. These mounts include an extended section that you can either leave intact, or easily remove for a more flush, true mount. With the rotation of the sections and angle axle, you can literally mount your speakers in any direction you need with ease. I was originally planning on using the 3M mounting tape (bought separately) to fasten these, as I live in an apartment (to avoid damage). However, if you are planning on doing a similar type mount, just know that, simply put, that is NOT an option. There is no real backing on the mounts to secure the tape to, and thus there is not enough surface area to create a proper hold. The only way to mount these is with the included screws, which is the best way, anyway, and I'm actually glad about that fact, in hindsight. The speakers that I have attached to these are pretty heavy for their size, and these mounts hold them with mo problems. They are very tough and durable! As for some of the previous reviews, I read that someone had a problem with the screw not reaching through the mount and into the back of the speaker. It's my guess that they either had the mount backwards (the mounting screw goes inside the mount, and does not stick out the back, FYI), or they were using the wrong type of mounting screw. They include several types of mounting screws with each mount, so they really do take care of your needs. They even include a second wall-type mount to use for two- or four-screw hole mount speakers. I'm trying to think of a negative for these mounts, but I honestly can't think of any. In short, if you are looking for a good, strong, steady speaker mount for a fair price, these are your answer! I would recommend these mounts to anyone looking to mount a Logitech Z5500/Z906 speaker system, or any speaker system, really. They honestly are great mounts!

Works well, great value
I bought these mounts in order to hang my new Yamaha speakers from the ceiling. Each speaker weighs 1 lb, so I cannot validate the claim that each mount supports up to 10 lbs. Overall it was a good purchase. Pros: - Obviously the price - $15.69 as of this writing - All elbows, joints, and pivot points work well and are tightened/loosened by a hex screw (allen wrench included) - Firm, solid support, at least for my 1-lb speakers, both in studs and in drywall ceiling with included anchors - Included is a variety of hardware (nuts, screws, and several bolts) to be compatible with many different kinds of speakers Cons: - The self-tapping screws strip easily when going into studs. The instructions recommend pre-drilling with a 1/8" bit. I would go up to 3/16. But I'm just guessing...I was dumb enough to adhere to the instructions for all three of the braces that I attached to studs, and each time at least one of the screws in each (out of two total per mount) started resisting really stubbornly when it was about 1/8" from fully in. - As other reviewers have said, the plastic washer spacer is indeed too small in diameter. Major, major foul on the manufacturer's part. I was able to find better ones from the hardware store for $0.30 a piece, but they were too long. I had to use a jigsaw blade to cut them in half (much harder than it sounds, because these things are so small). Anyway, I probably should have kept searching for a shorter washer, but I blame the mount manufacturer for all my troubles, minimal as they were, because I never should have had to go get my own washers in the first place...I expect products like this to come with the correct hardware. I almost gave this item three stars in light of Con #2. But when I ask myself "Would I buy this again?" the answer is yes. Overall, they work well, and nobody I know is going to beat this price. If you are buying your own speaker mounts, chances are you are handy enough to hold your own on projects like this. If you're not, however, and you're somehow or another intimidated by hardware and construction and hesitant to make your own modifications, these might not be for you, because of the hardware issues I mentioned above. Otherwise, they work great.

The "Hidden Gem" of 5.1 Setups: A Pro-Grade Soundstage for the Price of a Pizza!
I’ve seen enthusiasts spend $2,000 on high-end satellite speakers only to leave them sitting on bookshelves or—worse—on the floor. In a true surround sound environment, elevation and angles are everything. If you want that "theatre-like" immersion where bullets actually sound like they’re whizzing past your head, you need your speakers precisely aimed. The VideoSecu 5-Pack Speaker Mounts (1XZ) is the "Value King" of the mounting world. While brands like Bose or Polk charge $30 for a single bracket, VideoSecu provides an entire 5.1 system solution for a fraction of that. Here is the professional breakdown of why these are a staple in my install kit. The Engineering: Universal Versatility The brilliance of the 1XZ design lies in its Multi-Fit Technology. Most satellite speakers use one of three mounting styles: a single threaded hole, a dual-threaded hole, or a "keyhole" slot. This kit includes the hardware and adapters for all three. The Pivot System: The ball-and-socket design allows for a massive range of motion—tilting +/- 20 degrees and swiveling 180 degrees. This allows you to "toe-in" your speakers toward the "sweet spot" of your couch regardless of where you had to drill the holes. Ceiling vs. Wall: These are not limited to vertical surfaces. If you have a room with odd angles or no side walls, you can mount these directly to the ceiling for a modern, "floating" aesthetic. Build Quality: Fiber-Reinforced Polymer Don't let the "plastic" feel fool you. These are made of high-strength, weather-resistant polymer. In my 10 years of testing, this material is actually preferred for small satellites (up to 10 lbs) because it doesn't resonate or rattle like thin metal brackets often do. PROS Incredible Bulk Value: You get five mounts in one box. It’s a complete solution for a 5.1 setup, with no need to hunt for matching parts. True Universal Compatibility: Whether you have vintage satellites or modern small speakers from brands like Sony, Yamaha, or Infinity, these will almost certainly fit. Low-Profile Aesthetic: They are tiny and matte black. Once the speaker is mounted, the bracket virtually "disappears" into the shadows, keeping the focus on your tech, not the hardware. Easy DIY Installation: The instructions are clear, and the lag screws for the wall are included. You can have an entire system mounted in under an hour. Stable Tension: Once you tighten the adjustment screw, the "ball" locks in place. Unlike cheaper mounts, these don't "droop" or sag over time. CONS Strict Weight Limits: These are designed for Satellite Speakers. Do not attempt to mount heavy wood-cabinet bookshelf speakers (over 10 lbs) on these, or you will experience "ball-joint drift." Wall Anchors: Like most budget kits, the included plastic wall anchors are "basic." (See my Pro-Tip below for a better install!) No Internal Wire Routing: You will need to use cable clips or trunking to hide your wires, as the wires do not run through the bracket itself. Overall Input The VideoSecu 1XZ 5-Pack is a masterclass in utility. It provides the "Pro Look" and "Pro Sound" for a budget price. It solves the biggest problem of 5.1 audio: getting the rear speakers high enough to clear furniture while keeping them angled for maximum acoustic impact. It’s a rugged, reliable, and exceptionally versatile kit that belongs in every home theater owner's toolkit. Reviewer Pro-Tip: Do yourself a favor and spend $5 on a pack of high-quality "Self-Drilling" Toggle Bolts or Snap-Toggles at your local hardware store. The included plastic anchors are fine for studs, but if you are mounting into pure drywall, a toggle bolt will ensure your speakers stay up for a lifetime. Also, aim your rear speakers toward the back of your head, not directly at your ears, for a more "atmospheric" surround feel! Who is this for? Budget-conscious audiophiles, renters who want small, discrete holes, and anyone setting up a 5.1 or 7.1 surround system in a living room or bedroom.
