This is my second belt...they do wear out, as did my original belts 55 years ago. I noticed after washing my first belt a year ago that it shrank, so when I received my second one, I measured it upon opening the package and then immediately soaked and drip-dried it 4 times before cutting to size. It was 44 1/2” out of the package. After the first soak/dry, it was 44”. After the second, 43 1/2”. After the third and 4th soak/dry, it was 43 3/8” both times. Suggestion: don’t cut to size until washing it 3-4 times. I’ll check to see if it stretches after a few weeks of wear...if it does, I’ll trim again.

Liked and needed the actual belt. I went with one with a buckle as well. Frankly, to use the phrase, 'they don't make em like they used to.'Buckle is kinda cheaply made. Pretty, but light. My original issue buckle which I still have, is solid brass. Yeah, it needs polishing frequently, but it feels like its good for another 40 years. The anodized one feels like it'd give out in a couple years. Honestly, I don't mind polishing brass, so I am ok with it.

Very good sturdy belt, well made solid buckle. You get what you pay for.

Buckle so far feels sturdy and the belt is tough as nails.

Yes I like the belt and buckle I was surprised the belt was cut to size usually the belts are long and the buyer would cut the belt. But no big thing
