I'm at the age where my hormones are changing. Unfortunately, they decided to do it during Covid... when I was wearing a mask everywhere. That's when I notice..... uh oh!!! .... I'm starting to raise a mustache! Not good at all! Thank goodness I was wearing a mask! But that came to an end and here I was with a very light-colored mustache. It was terrible! I was so embarrassed! So, I waxed it. Ouch! Not to mention that my face was red where I waxed it for a couple of days. Makeup didn't cover the redness. In fact, made my upper lip even more noticeable and people would ask what was wrong with my face. So embarrassing. It was better just to have this blonde mustache. I looked at lots of gadgets trying to figure out what would work best. I had used an electric epilator in the past on my legs and the results were terrible. I honestly didn't want to go through that again, especially with my face. I saw this little gadget and figured it wouldn't work. It was a spring. What was so special about it? I was just skeptical. More time passes. I was just miserable and decided to just be "hairy". Then, without much notice, I was invited someplace where I knew I'd see lots of people from my past. I couldn't bear the thought of the mustache. So I shaved it. I looked great! But two days later, stubble. Man stubble! Eeeek! I should have just left it alone in the first place. But I couldn't stand it anymore and refused to shave again. So back to looking at this gadget again. What the heck.... it was only $20 so I bought it. When I got it, of course, just like me, I didn't read the directions to see how to properly use it, I mean, how hard could it be? It was a simple spring. And it didn't work. Oh well. But then, I got an email the next day from the company thanking me for the purchase and they also told me to watch the video that was recommended with the product (which I didn't do). I did exactly what the email told me to do. It was so simple!!!! I felt stupid for not watching the video instructions. Within 5 minutes, the mustache was gone. I mean, even the tiniest little hairs. GONE!!! There was a little sting, but I was expecting that, it wasn't really that bad at all. The mustache hasn't returned, and neither has the stubble. I just use this little gadget for about a minute just in case, but there's nothing! All gone, root and all! I know it will slowly return but I'm not worried. BTW, there was no redness afterwords either. A brilliant little gadget, very easy to use. But I do highly recommend that you watch the video, especially if you are a skeptic.... like me. I see online that there are many types to choose from, most have some sort of plastic ends or handles, I'm not a big fan of plastic, but this one - I know - will hold up for a long time, its stainless steel, which I think it a big plus. It will not lose its shape or effectiveness. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is reading this. If I could give it more stars, I would. This has helped me regain much of my confidence when I have to go out into the real world. I'm not at all self-conscious anymore and I think I look pretty good again! My face is soft and smooth and hair free!

As written by my girl: :O this thing is AMAZING!!!! After learning I should stop waxing while on tret, I was having my upper lip threaded. It never came out perfect, always stragglers and I’d have to keep going back week after week. I was looking for a threading kit to do it myself at home and came across this device. WOW! It hurts so bad! But I keep telling myself it is bc it is the first time and there was quite a bit to remove. Either way, it freaking works!!!! My upper lip has not been hair free for what feels like a year and I am in love with this spring!!! I seriously have not stopped looking at my upper lip :P I even told my friends about it bc WOW!! So, yes, it hurts, hopefully with upkeep it stops hurting as badly. You have to twist the spring. It only works one way so make sure you are doing it right. I twist the spring handles inwards. It is addictive. I suddenly wanted to remove peach fuzz that has never ever bothered me. Yeah, just get it. It sucks that is is made in Israel but if you can look past that, get it!!!!!! It seriously is the best purchase I’ve made in a while.

I've been shaving my chin and neck (under the chin, not the whole neck) for close to 30 years. I hate it because I don't like waking up w/stubble, especially if I'm visiting someone or have my own visitors who see me before I shower. I saw this online after searching for a solution and decided to try it due to the good reviews. It's a simple piece of equipment and I could see just by looking at it how it works and for $20 def worth a try. So. The first night I received it I gave it a go and THOUGHT it was working. I told my daughter it felt like little static shocks, no big deal. I sat in front of the mirror for about an hour using it, realizing at the end of that hour I really was just learning HOW to use it and OMG, when I was using it correctly boy did it hurt! Especially on the chin, for those thick and plentiful hairs that I've been keeping shaved for 30 years. However since I had started this torturous procedure I was committed and kept going. After about 40 minutes of getting hairs I stopped, realizing that by no means was I done. After about 10 minutes in the process of painfulness the pain subsided, or rather my chin was just super numb by that time. The next night, now having a good idea of how this device worked, I took another shot. Once you get the hang of it, and it does take a while, it works well (in that it grabs a multitude of hair at the same time). Again pain until numb. About an hour later I stopped, realizing that I got SO many more hairs but not all of them. Yikes. The next day I finished up and boy oh boy was my chin/neck smooth. The third day of pulling wasn't as painful and I'm not sure if my chin was just used to it or more than likely, the stubborn/hard to pull hairs were gone so the hairs that were left were easier to pull? I did notice that some hairs don't come out the first time they get pulled, and I would have to go over the same spot over and over, finally pulling the entirety of the hair out, so for me it wasn't a quick answer nor was it painless, however I woke up this morning with NO stubble. I sent a photo of the contraption to my sister and she replied that she's been using an epilator (electric one) for years which sounds a LOT easier. BUT, since i've been through the initial pain and my chin/neck is hair free i'm going to keep it up w/this spring and see how it goes. 4 stars, taking one off for pain and the fact that rolling over and pulling (painfully) a hair doesn't actually always pull it out, so sometimes ONE hair can cause a multitude of pains. But it worked. UPDATE: I ended up returning this and buying a cordless epilator. What a difference. Didn’t realize how wonderful The cordless epilator! I feel silly for not trying it first and skipping is torture device. The epilator pulls out hairs completely, but works like a razor in that one swipe over your hairs and they’re pretty much gone.

I have hair on my entire face. Its not really visible unless in direct bright sunlight. This product works to remove the hair just as it says. It was easy for me to figure out how to use it unlike some of the reviewers. The spring was pretty simple to use. --- Cons --- 1. This spring is EXTREMELY painful when used on the upper lip (mustache) area. If you leave it for a week and do it again, it will be just as painful, almost painful enough to make you throw it away and give up. 2. It did not remove the really light "baby hairs" from my forehead at all. This was the area that I bought the Spring Sprong for and it didn't work there. I think the hairs are too fine for this spring to work there. I have turned the spring in every possible direction, and it still wont remove the hairs. 3. It's kind of expensive for just a simple spring. 4. Its difficult to clean the hairs out of the inside of the spring. --- Pros --- 1. The REM Spring Sprong is very easy to use. 2. The pain is minimal in most areas 3. There has been no stubble or ingrown hairs on my face when using this product. (I've used it for a few months with not one ingrown hair, & I am prone to them) 4. You can use it in the privacy of your own home, ( I use it while watching television) 5. You don't have to wait for hair to reach a certain length before using, you can use it every day to get the random hairs that have grown. (I use it a few time a week just so it will be less painful than if I waited a couple of weeks and all the hair grows back) Overall, I would recommend this product if you have hair on your whole face that you want to remove. If you only want to remove hair above the lip, mustache, I suggest you just get it waxed because its less painful and time consuming. - UPDATE I have been using the Spring for 6 months now and the most important things are to use it often to reduce the pain and make sure that your face is washed and exfoliated before and after each use. One time I used it right after work without washing my face and I had a bad breakout.

OMG ! It works ! Gets Peach Fuzz, Fine & Coarse Hairs ! It stings a bit with all the hairs it’s pulling out at the root as you use it, but nothing I can’t stand. So pleased with my purchase. Wish I could give more than five stars. This product definitely deserves it.

**Please read!** I’ve had this hair remover tool for a year now & in all honesty loved and highly recommended this to others. However, please BEWARE that regular use has made my upper lip and chin hair WORSE. ☹️ In the beginning, results were noticeable and phenomenal! But regular use has resulted in me having a “5 o clock shadow” after 1 skipped day & chin hairs I didn’t have prior to using this tool. I’ve made a laser hair removal appt this week bc I’m not wearing makeup everyday to cover a mustache. Ladies, if you can’t afford laser treatments, avoid needing to in the future & seek an alternative method from this coil. This hair remover tool absolutely works short term, but causes more crap to deal with long term. From my experience it is not worth using.

I used to think I was one of a few ladies with this problem, so this item put that idea to rest. This item is great. I have never had smoother skin than I do right now and I have been shaving for over 50 years. To put some issues to rest: does it hurt, it is uncomfortable because you are pulling out several hairs at once. However, the next time you need to use it there are fewer hairs and much less discomfort. It was over two weeks before I had to go over it again, but there were so few hairs, while I could feel it, it was not the same as getting many pulled out at once. I have had this for almost three months and only needed to use it three times and each time there were fewer and fewer hairs. I am certain it won't be long until I will not need to use it at all. I am sorry it took me so long to find an item like this.

This thing worked wonders for me. About 5 years ago, after getting a terribly upclose picture taken, I was absolutely horrified to see that I had a beard! I have a lot of fine and light colored hair on my jawline, but it's longer than most women's. It's not terribly noticeable (I didn't think) except for in direct sunlight and at certain angles. But it has made me very self-conscious for years. I would always try to keep my hair down to cover the sides of my face. I never did anything about it because I feared that it would grow back thicker and darker. I use Sally Hansen hair remover for my upper lip once a week but using it for my whole face would have been expensive, time consuming and annoying, plus that stuff has an unpleasant smell. I didn't want to remove all of the hair on my face, as after doing my upper lip, when I sweat it seems to bead because there is no hair to catch it. Plus I thought it would look weird to be completly hairless. I am getting married in 6 weeks and have been absolutely dreading the upclose outdoor pictures-our venue is a community park and getting pictures at dusk will be unavoidable. I still wasn't planning on doing anything about it because I didn't want to make a lifelong committment to whole-face hair removal-only planning on making a lifelong committment to the man I'm marrying! A couple of weeks ago I saw some infomerical (can't recall the product, maybe NoNo), so I went online to look at reviews and that led me to read up on an assortment of products. I came across some at home machines that were awfully expensive ($400+ refills) and weren't supposed to be used on the face (although that wouldn't have stopped me). I have also researched electrolosis but found out that I wouldn't be a good candidate because my hair is light. Eventually I stumbled onto this product and I poured over the reviews and ordered that day. I was so excited for it to come that I ripped it out of the box. I went to work with a 2x mirror in a well lit room. It did hurt-like others have said, it's comprable to tweezing (I think it might hurt a little less). Tears welled up in my eyes a couple of times but it wasn't like I was about to scream out in pain. I tried to do my moustache but since I used the hair remover cream less than a week ago I don't think it was long enough to pull out. It took me a little bit of trial and error to get this to grab and remove hair but I knew not to give up. After doing my whole face, it was red (like when I pluck my eyebrows) but I put some moisturizer on and went to bed and woke up with smooth silkly, normal skin. It does look a little dry though, I probably should have reapplied the moisturizer in the AM. I love that I can do this in the convenience of my home. I will try to give an update as to how often I have to use this product to maintain my face as it is now-not completely hairless, there are VERY short fine hairs remaining, you know like most normal people! I plan to do it twice a week. This is the cheapest, easiest, most ingenious product for facial hair removal I've seen! I keep looking at my face in mirrors from the angles I used to dread and it makes me so happy. While I can't say I'm looking forward to getting a bunch of pictures taken of me, it's no longer because of my facial hair! I can't wait to tell all of my female friends and family members about this!! And thanks to everyone else who left reviews, you made me try this product and I am so grateful that I did! I am not big on reviewing, but I felt I had to add my story since I got a lot out of everyone else's. For other women with my type of facial hair, I can't urge you enough to try this product. At $13, what's there to lose?? Update: I used this for the second time about a week after the first try. It was not nearly as painful, I didn't even bat an eye-probably because you are pulling much less hair. It is tough to do your chin, I'm still trying to figure out the most efficient angles, etc. I don't think I'll have to use this more than once a week for maintenance, which is awesome! Oh, and it did end up making me break out on my jaw line by my ears. But they weren't pimples, just bumps and they went a way within a couple of days.

I bought this product cuz I was beginning to get frustrated by a sudden surge of PCOS related hormonal facial hair along my jawline. I’ve used it just once but it works so well! It’s really easy to get a hang of. I would say the pain is about the same as threading or plucking hair. It hurts for a split second yes, but there’s no pain or redness after. I would suggest googling or watching a YouTube video to learn how to use the spring first, but trust me it’s really straightforward. And plucks multiple hairs at once, from the root, so you can tell it is doing the job cuz the little hairs may stick in the spring. It is also stainless steel so it won’t rust! Really glad I bought this. One drawback is that some hairs are harder to pull out if they are too fine or in tricky spots.

Ok - so I was on Amazon looking for something to help remove facial hair and found this item with masses of rave reviews. I then realised I was on the US site instead of the UK. There were only about 4 reviews on the UK site but as the US site was so effusive in their praise I decided to give it a try. Now I had no hair issues at all on the face and neck until I hit 40. Since then I suddenly started sprouting coarse dark hairs on upper lip and chin and also finer blonder hairs. I had read a few reviews on this item on the US site, including some top tips about how to use it. I took it out of the packet, made an upside down U shape, placed it against my top lip and then twirled the two ends outwards. OMG - it worked like a dream. Now it isn't painless. you can't expect it to be pain free. There are a few 'jumpy' moments but it removes more hair than I ever thought I had! It is also easy to do without a mirror. If you want it to be virtually pain free I suggest sitting on the sofa, stick on a box set, drink a couple of glasses/bottles of wine and then let rip (sipping more wine in between goes). You can do this for 2 mins each evening and no more unsightly hairs. I highly recommend this - one of the simplest yet most effective thing I have ever used.
