Review: There were several illustrations which I really like in any set of directions - 4.16.2018 - Part 1. Just recieved my new Rabaconda Tire Changer. I was very impressed with the literature which came with it. There were three documents. The first document I reviewed all the parts sent. I used this to avoid problems I've had in the past with other products only to find out parts were missing. All the parts were in my box. The second was instructions. They were very simple to follow. There were several illustrations which I really like in any set of directions. Putting the stand together took no more than 15 minutes. It would of been faster, but I wasn't in a hurry or doing it for time. The third document was about Bib Mousse inserts. Much of the details and suggestions I was unaware of until I read this document. It only makes sense if you read the small section about the history of organization. They have many, many years and input from many racers that I believe has allowed them to create this product and provide this documentation. I bought this after much research. There were cheaper versions, but I decided to go with this unit because of all the extras they put into its manufacturing versus the cheaper other versions. A big reason I made a purchase is because I just changed Bib Mousses and tires on an upright stand. It was a nightmare. I was cussing and throwing wrenches. In the past I had a friend change them with his stand. I have a new profound respect for changing Bib Mousses. I'm hoping to add on to this review following the use of it. So far I'm super please and not disappointed I spent more money on what appears to be superior stand. I plan on letting my friend who changes tires on his stand use the Rabaconda as well to see if he thinks there's a difference between his cheaper stand and the Rabaconda. My only suggestion would be to add suggestions on the best way to pack the bag it comes with and add standard measurements for people in the US who buy it (measurements and tire pressures referenced.) The second part of my review will occur within the next 30 days-ish. 5.2.2018 I changed out a front Kenda 21" tire reusing the Bib Mousse. I had a friend do it that has no experience using the tire stand. I read him the directions, step by step. Following the tire change, he said it was simple and easy. * The one thing we felt would be of benefit is the step where you are now putting the top/2nd part of the bead onto the rim. In the video, it says to insert one iron into the bead/rim and secure in the slot next to the changers arm. This is done right next to the rim lock. We had a issue when we completed the bead mounting as we came back to the opposite side of the rim lock. In the future, I will insert an iron on both sides seating the rim lock. This way when I come around the tire, It will be completely mounted. The issue was the spot where you are suppose to leverage with an iron to push the rim lock bolt in, was a little difficult. By seating it in at the start, I wont have this issue. See picture to help understand my explantion.
Review: Takes the pain out of Tire Changing - Construction: The Rabaconda is solidly built and will last longer than me. Setup: 5 min and almost self-explanatory (the simplistic guide helps) Use: After my first use I can tell this device is going to save me a lot of time changing tires (Mousses, tubes – and probably Tubliss). Previously I had tire irons and a milk crate which was a huge pain and I dreaded changing tires. Now with the Rabaconda, even after only 1 tire change, I no longer dread changing tires. It’s going to be a great addition to my tools. Finally it comes with a nice portable carrying case when I travel. Dislike: Not much I can complain about with the unit or operation. My only small gripe is the grip stickers for the handle didn’t stick all that well.

**Q: What hub sizes does it fit?**
A: 20 to 27mm as supplied, using the 20mm center spindle and the 24mm sleeve in the box. Hubs from 12 to 30mm are covered by optional center spindles, sold separately. Measure your hub bore before ordering.

**Q: Will it bend my spokes?**
A: Not when it's set up correctly. Rest the wheel on all three support tubes, under the spokes and as close to the rim as possible, so the load is even before you break the bead. Uneven contact is what damages spokes and bends the center spindle.

**Q: What tools do I still need?**
A: Tire irons and bead grease. Neither is included. The manual asks for bead grease on both beads before mounting, and tire irons to work the bead around the rim.

**Q: Does it need any tools to assemble?**
A: No. It assembles and breaks down by hand using the supplied knob screw and ball lock pin. A printed manual is packed in the box.

**Q: What is in the box?**

I COULDN'T DO IT AS EASY AS THE VIDEO BUT IT TOOK OUT THE CUS WORDS WHILE CHANGING THE TIRE. I THINK YOU JUST HAVE TO CHANGE A FEW TIRES BEFORE BECOMING PROFICIANT AT IT. NOT SURE WHY IT DIDN'T COME WITH TIRE SPOONS AND THE BACG ZIPPER BROKE RIGHT AWAY AND COULD BE A LITTLE BIGGER. THE UNIT IS MADE WELL AND IS EASY TO SET UP AND TAKE DOWN. IF YOU CHANGE TIRES OFTEN YOU WILL BE HAPPY TO HAV IT.
