I was surprised when I noticed it was from my old stumping grounds. The item was packaged in bubble wrap securely. It is not too heavy in weight. I took five pictures.

I purchased this set back in 2013, in the first apartment I shared with my partner. We both loved whiskey and wanted to drink it in style, but neither of us had much money. We found this set for around $20, and are still using it 8+ years later. The decanter itself gets the least amount of use, and only comes out if we're having friends over to drink whiskey. The stopper isn't perfect, but the decanter looks nice, so it's better to use for an evening than to store whiskey in longer-term. The glasses, on the other hand, have been used almost daily since we purchased them and are still going strong. A few scratches, sure, but I don't think any of them have broken. For the first few years, they doubled as our water drinking glasses, and eventually became relegated to being the rocks glasses they were designed to be. They've survived parties, weekly game night, and general use and abuse. I never expected them to last this long when I purchased them, and I'm thoroughly impressed.

Fantastic gift so far. Friend really likes it and its aesthetically very pleasing for the price. I may adjust my rating in the future, but for now its a 5/5 for any hard liquor drinkers. The container is large and was fairly easy to grip and showcase around.

When I received this bottle, I would have rated it as a 4. I love the look of it, and it seems like a real solid and heavy glass. However, after a few months of using it, I've had to knock it down a few stars. Here's why: 1) Since this is my first decanter, I really didn't know much about plastic on the top piece. I figured, how bad could it be? Well, it looks and feels VERY cheap. You can't notice it when it's closed, but when you take the top off all you see is the large plastic stopper and the top piece itself doesn't feel like real glass. Gives you a cheap impression. 2) This thing drips EVERY TIME I pour a drink. What I mean by this is, when I pour a drink, there is ALWAYS a side drip that slides down the bottle. Being it's my nice decanter, I always wipe it off. At first I thought it was just me, but then I asked my wife who brags about her ability to pour anything without spilling it, and the same thing happened to her over and over. I'm sorry, for something that is literally made in order to constantly pour drinks, this is just unacceptable. It's hardly relaxing, and means you have to have a tissue or paper towel ready any time you pour something. While the price is very good, and that's why I originally ordered it, these two reasons above became much more glaring when I saw at least 2-3 decanters at Ross for around the same price (maybe a few dollars more) that had solid glass tops and also looked great. Made me wish I had just bought them there, and skipped this plastic one.

Both my husband ( Mr. Picky) and I LOVE this decanter! Very sleek and classy. I might order another one! The top rubber stopper is sturdy and very easy to remove. No breaking of glass! Packaged well!

I Yesss this decanter for a cucumber, ginger summer drink. It looked very pretty a change from using the usual pitcher. I had a variety of alcohol and nonalcoholic drinks on my bar and this decanter did a great job by making my drink look good . A great buy. One think that scared me when I picked up my package a rattling sound and was upset that it wasn’t packaged properly. It was not amazons packing it was from the seller that the lid is not wrapped just put in the box. It was fine however it should be packaged properly. A good buy!

Considering the low price, this decanter set is not only very good value, but it looks stylish and quite expensive too. I'd been looking at this set for quite some time, and I'm certainly glad I did take a chance and buy it! It is ideal for use as an "everyday" decanter set, rather than having to use your best crystal, which is better saved for special occasions. I've had no problems with my decanter lid as other seem to have had. Thankfully, there were no breakages either! This is probably because it was neatly packed in a box clearly marked fragile, and the Amazon courier was clearly very careful - it's reassured me when it comes to buying fragile items from Amazon in the future. If you'd like an everyday value decanter set, that I highly recommend this one; great quality at a great price...
