Nice little heater.
It's a nice little heater. I do mean little though. I would love to have a larger version of this type of heater for our back patio, but we (thankfully) have a roof for the patio. Roof is only about 7' tall, which is a no go for a big heater. A smaller version, like this, will have to do. And it does. It sits on a table top, of course, and you really need to be right beside the table to stay warm on a cool night. For that, it does the trick. It's nice down to about 50 degree weather (right next to it). Below that, and you really want a higher output heater. This heater works well and does what it should for an 11K BTU heater, but understand what you're getting. We actually have other higher BTU heater when it gets really cold, but this one serves it's purpose.Assembly wasn't too bad. The base weight is a bit of a pain, but just turn the whole thing upside down to attach. And if you plan on using it regularly or for more than a few hours at a time, get an adapter so that you can attach it to a 15-20 propane tank. They're cheap and well worth it for this heater. The 1 lb tanks don't last long.

Works great.
Works great. This table top patio heater was easy to put together and the pilot light ignites on the first or second click of the igniter every time. Most reviewers that have given this heater low grades is because it does not put out enough heat. A person has to understand that this heater is only 11,000 BTUs, so you must be fairly close to it to stay warm. I for one, placed it on a small table between two patio chairs about 24" from each chair. It keeps us warm at outside temps down to the low 50's when there is no wind. Any colder than that, or if it's windy, I have no desire to sit outside anyway.I also run the heater off a 20 lb tank and a adapter hose. The 1 lb bottles would last less than 2 hours on high. The only complaint I have is that there is no cutout in the base for the adapter hose as the pictures show. But it looks great and performs well.

Everything was great until….
I loved this at first. Now, frustrated. I purchased this a few weeks ago to extend my deck time this fall. Went together easy. It lit easy with the first three propane bottles. The heat was perfect for my needs. But when I tried to light it on the fourth bottle, the pilot light won’t stay lit. I’ve followed the directions as I did the first three times. I can push and hold the dial for five minutes. The pilot light will light every 30 clicks of the striker. When it does, it hardly lights. When it used to to a blue flame, now it’s yellow flame. Thinking it will get hot enough to stay lit, I hold it and hold it. No matter how long I do, it doesn’t stay lit. It’s pretty worthless right now. I won’t but this again. I wasted $120.

Fiddly to get started, but works great if you follow these directions
When I was considering buying this heater I noticed the reviews largely fell into very good or very bad. The very bd ones were mostly people who couldn't get it to work and this is because it IS tricky to get it to work if, as I was, you are not experienced at working with devices powered by propane cannisters. However, once you get the hang of it, it works very well. I gave it fewer stars on "easy to assemble" because that was the closest summary statistic for ease of getting it to work. Assembly of the heater itself is trivial. To get it to work, you need to connect a 1lb propane cannister. First, for complete newbies, the cannisters ship with a black screwed on cap. Take that off and take off the small black cover on the tip of the heater's connector and you will see that the cannister easily screws onto the connector. Second, perhaps the best advice of all the reviews I read said to light it for the first time IN THE DARK. In daylight it is hard to tell whether the pilot light is lit, making for a very frustrating experience. So wait until dusk to try it. Then, watch the manufacturer's video here on the amazon page and do Exactly what they say. In particular, hold the knob in and 90 degrees to the left for a FULL MINUTE before pushing the starter button and keep it there while pushing the starter button and then for about 15-20 seconds AFTER the pilot lights. Especially the first time, you may need to push the button 15 times before the pilot lights. Make sure you push the button (each time) to the point where it clicks - you have to push it fairly hard. Resist the temptation to let go of the knob when you see the pilot flame. Hold it for another 15-20 seconds to let things heat up. Then release the knob, push in again and turn to catch the whole circle and adjust the level of heat. Once you have done this a few times, you get the hang of it and the pilot often ignites on a couple of pushes of the red button. It is nice and stable with a heavy bottom and puts out a good amount of heat. The one lb cannisters last about two hours. You can use a hose attachment to a 20 lb of propane tank, but I have not done that yet. Enjoy!

Easy, WARM, and Did I Mention EASY?
I'm so thrilled with this patio table-top heater!! It's a total workhorse. I tried two different table top heaters prior to this one, both made by DynaGlo, and they both failed within a day. Decided to go another direction and got this heater, it's an adorable mini-me to the taller patio heaters, if you have one of those. It started up on the first click and has done so every day since! What a change in operation. I also hooked up an extension hose with a filter so I can use a 20# tank. Even better -- lasts about two weeks operating for 1-2 hours/day at full blast. That's another benefit of this heater, it actually changes its output when you move the dial. I find it to be a little chilly sitting on the table (it's about 30 degrees outside), but if you put it on the ground between chairs it's amazing. When the weather warms up a bit I'm sure table-top will be perfect. This is a winner!

Works good but high fuel consumption
This puts off a great amount of heat and is wonderful to have out on the patio but it does go through a small fuel tank in about 30 min.

Bigger than we thought it would be!
We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the item. if you’re looking for something small to go on a tiny table top, this is not for you, however, if you’re trying to warm a nice sized area and want to put this on a larger table, or a picnic table, this is perfect!!It was very easy to put together, and worked with no problems the first time we tried to turn it on.We liked it so much we’re thinking we might get a second!

nice heat
Perfect for exterior table. Not as hot as taller one, but just nice temp. Installation is easy, and it wont burn my gazebo even if table is just under. overall nice product. we will see if it resist the time. So far so good after 4 month. i<m running on small 1lb tank, which fit in the base, but there is a hole in the bottom of the unit, so you can pass a cable to bigger 20lbs tank (not included).

Very cute
Please understand it heat up to 2 f and not more , it’s perfect if you are sitting around a table and this is on the table or a coffee table ! It runs out of the gas tank approximately after 2 hour . I already knew this info by reading other reviews :)

Great Price and Quality
Heater burns through small (3 lb) propane bottle in approximately 2 hrs on low. Will be installing an adapter to allow for the connection of a 20 lb tank.

Poor product
I bought this for warmth on the patio on those cold mornings/night, it worked properly for two weeks then it would not start, i pulled it apart and cleaned the whole unit, yet it would not light up. It sucks to buy a new unit expecting it to be trouble free, another poor product through AMAZON. {:+(

Good heat. works well
Gives off a good amount of heat. Works well. The little tanks do frost up but I think that happens with all these table top heaters. Great for fall movie night on the deck.
