I do like my soda water. It is a must have for me. I have a Soda Stream but frankly it is a disappointment. I used a Fizzini before and that didn't work so well and it would break.I wasn't sure if this was going to do the trick. I had plenty of leftover chargers so it wasn't a huge investment.This is the one I have been looking for. It is sturdy and it makes real fizz that pours out of the spout into your fizzy drink. It does need to be refrigerated before fizzing. It is better to let it sit a bit to absorb the CO2 but it can be shaken and used right away. For the price and convenience I am very pleased with this product. It seems very sturdy. I have the Leland chargers and they aren't too expensive, not when compared to the competition. It is not a money saver to make your own soda water, it is a convenience that I like to have available. I Love Fizz...

the bottle seems well made. feels sturdy. looks good. easy to use. unfortunately it just plain ole doesn't work. it makes, nearly flat water. very tiny bubbles that dissipate withing minutes. we thought it might be the water, so we tried different types. no change. we even tried nearly flat club soda with the same results. we had high hopes but after several attempts, trying different factors that may effect the outcome... we have given up. this product is not worth the money, and creates nearly flat carbonated water with tiny bubbles that are gone in under 3 minutes

Firstly, if you follow the instructions, you will end up with a very bubbly drink. And it holds it's bubbles when stored in the fridge. Easy and exactly what I was looking for. Secondly, there was a delivery issue with Fedex, and the Waterline company was extremely friendly and helpful in fixing the issue. If there were more than 5 stars, I would award them. Great product, great company with great customer service. I don't write many reviews, but this deserves my kudos!

I actually liked this product at first, but I think mine might be defective. I have only used it 4 times and I have gone through about 20 cartridges because no matter how tight I twist the top, the CO2 escapes immediately. You can hear it blow right out the sides of the cap. I'm doing everything the way it says to do it. I got about 2 good uses out of it and it hasn't worked since.

I have had this Soda Siphon for about a year. It worked great up until the tiny rubber band gasket broke. I did order a new one online and the customer service on the product is really excellent, although I did have to pay for the replacement. If you don't use this gasket, it will explode water everywhere when you use it. I'm wondering if people who complained of this issue just forgot to use the gasket. I would have given this product 5 starts had the gasket not broken within a year of using it. It does make excellent soda and is of very sturdy, attractive construction.

I have one that I use for making seltzer water and decided to buy this one to make Tonic Water using various tonic syrups including Jack Rudy's sold here on Amazon. Several times now after filling, screwing-on the valve/nozze assembly and then putting the CO2 Cartridge in, it randomly shoots the contents out briefly. I've learned to fill it and keep it in the Kitchen Sink for safety, but the first time it happened I had sticky tonic water all over my kitchen counter, floor, cupboards and my new Flat Screen TV. Needless to say I was ANGRY! I adapted and just learned to do this in the safety of a Kitchen Sink to avoid disaster. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it does not. I still have no idea why it is doing this, but I've learned to work around the issue.

Unlike other soda makers in the market that are bulky and look a bit silly, this product is super sleek and extremely easy to use.All our guests who we serve soda water to have been very impressed. We use this with kayser CO2 chargers and they work well. For best carbonation, do start with fridge-chilled water, give the bottle a vigorous shake after the CO2 capsule is pierced and continue chilling the bottle in fridge for at least 30min. We have been using this unit for almost 2 years now and it still functions very well.

If you are looking to save $ relative to store bought carbonated water this is not a good alternative. The capacity of the siphon is listed as 1L but the instructions specify that you only fill it to .66L for safe use. Take that into account in your cost comparison. The cheapest 8 gram co2 cartridges on Amazon will cost you 55 cents per .66 liter of carbonated water, again, take this into account if you are looking to save money relative to store bought carbonated water. You can increase carbonation by adding sodium bicarbonate (backing soda) but the increase in carbonation is not significant if you are looking to match store bought level carbonation. Save up for $300 rig with a 5lb co2 tank is if you are looking to save on cost over long periods of time, search on YouTube for a Corny keg setup. 8 gram co2 cartridges are a waste of money.
