The colour of the picture is not real. It's more like an electric blue, which is absolutely gorgeous. Talking about accuracy, my one is running -4.5 sec slow per day. But price is a bit higher in India.

A wonderful starter for the budding watch collector for the price it is a fantastic piece of equipment the only gripe I have is that the back is an exhibition case back and not a solid case back but with that aside it's amazing ...!!!

I've been seeing ads about Invicta watch and saw reviews on youtube also. Since I have special interest on watches especially automatic I thought of purchasing one Invicta and I did. To my surprise, I found Invicta a wonderful timepiece which runs accurately with a great look. I purchased one more after seeing the performance. I am a fan of this watch now.

It comes with a Seiko Automatic movement which makes it a steal deal. Though the build quality is pretty Average but you will not find anything like this under 10k. You will like the blue dial and overall look of the watch. Guys, who love big size watches and Automatic movement should go for this. I would recommend to buy this watch during sale or at discounted price.

A better quality expected

Tak, jak w tytule - kupiłem go za 308 zł, co stanowi 1/3 ceny oferowanej na stronach polskich vendorów tego typu urządzeń do odmierzania czasu. Oczywiście Amazon, jak zwykle, zapodał błyskawiczną i bezpieczną dostawę. Zegarek dotarł w moje ręce, zaś później na rękę w stanie nienaruszonym w eleganckim pudełku prezentowym. Po rozpakowaniu okazało się, że czasomierz różni się w kilku kwestiach z zamieszczonymi na stronie Amazonu fotkami. Przede wszystkim tarcza jest koloru śliwka węgierka (fiolet), zaś bezel w kolorze radosnego błękitu niezapominajek. Wiedziałem o tym z poprzednio przeczytanych opinii i jakoś mnie to nie razi. No i na rotorze nie ma żółtej naklejki z reklamą marki Invicta - jak dla mnie to może i lepiej, bo nie wiem, czy taka naklejkowa maskarada nie wpływała by negatywnie na pracę mechanizmu NH 35A. A sam mechanizm jest na razie super w odniesieniu do wahań chodu - na dobę przybliża mnie jedynie niecałe 4 sekundy do wieczności... Zaś sam mechanizm - super - stop sekunda, dokręcanie, funkcja szybkiej daty, dwukierunkowy wahnik i wreszcie dokręcana koronka, co przekłada się na wodoodporność mechanizmu. Wisienką na torcie jest łezka na datowniku, która pozwala mi wreszcie bez okularów zobaczyć jaki mamy dzień miesiąca. Zegarek jest stosunkowo mały ale taki właśnie chciałem ze względu na raczej damski rozmiar moich nadgarstków - ten rozmiar koperty idealnie komponuje się z moimi gabarytami (wygląda dyskretnie i akuratnie a nie jak 47 mm szpanerska cebula). Łatwo usuwa się ogniwa z bransolety i każdy może sobie dopasować według własnych upodobań. Zegarek jest stosunkowo ciężki ale bez przesady to nie smartwatch. Reasumując: za grosiki stałem się posiadaczem solidnego czasomierza, który może nie będzie moim podstawowym zegarkiem (mam ich sporo) ale na pewno nie spocznie na dnie szuflady w roli eksponatu albo alokacji majątku.

I have this watch for about 1 year now so the review is more than just an early impression. I like the look of this watch for what you pay for. At a distance it looks more like an expensive watch, though nobody would mistake it as a Rolex. Of course, close inspection would show the material and alignments not top notch but still of high quality. The watch is solid and have a good weight to it. These are the good things. As far as keeping time is concerned, the watch started at about losing a fraction of a minute per day to slightly more than 1 minute per day after almost 1 year of constant wearing. There is room for adjustment but I did not bother to take it to a watch shop to open it and have it adjusted. I just reset the watch every few days as there is no need for me to have a perfectly accurate watch. If you want a more accurate watch, quartz is the only way to go. My cell phone is the best for telling time. So taking into account of everything, I'm not unhappy with the Invicta as it cost only slightly more than Can$100 for a good looking automatic watch. By the way, it seems to keep the water out in normal use, including shower. Never tried diving with it so can't tell you how a Pro Diver it really is.

I don't know about other watch fanatics, but I have "phases." I went through a military watch phase, a "rally"-style phase (in conjunction with "sporty" watches), and an aviator phase. I have mostly preferred chronographs. But I also like a clean face, and recently I started to go through a diver-style phase. I have always liked Seiko watches and recently stumbled on Seiko "mods" (modified) sports/diver watches. There's almost no cleaner face than a basic diver...analog, either automatic or quartz (battery-operated), with some typical feature such as screw-down crown for waterproofing the case. I invested in a few of those colorful Seiko mods (check the auction sites) and I love them, but I also realized I was itching for an automatic (not quartz) that was different enough from the Seikos to stand out (and maybe look somewhat more modern). All the modded Seikos usually come with dive-style black bands, which are fine, but I've swapped out most of them for NATOs -- I like the look, the color varieties, and the ease of switching. Since I have some Invictas in my collection, I checked for a low-cost diver -- and found this one. It uses the near-legendary Japanese NH35A automatic movement, it's bold like Invictas but at 40mm it's not overbearing. The face tends toward purple while the bezel is blue, and some reviewers don't like that, but I do. The unidirectional bezel is quite stiff and may need some silicone to loosen up. The screw-down crown can also be used to wind the watch (when it stops from lack of movement) and the winding mechanism is like butter. Holds a charge and as far as I can tell, accuracy too. The 3:00 o'clock date window has a magnifier. Not everyone likes that, but I find it adds character. Most of these divers are loosely based on the famed Rolex Submariner, I believe, and for quite a few thousand dollars less this one'll do the job and look pretty good on your wrist. I don't dive, so I won't be confirming its seaworthiness, but it has been resistant enough for me in daily use. The second hand has the "snowflake" tip, and the hour hand the "Mercedes." The minute hand is a long spear. The white motif is easy to read. The second hand also adds an Invicta eagle at the back end, and it doesn't bother me at all. The Invicta name is etched on one side of the case, but you have to be looking for it to spot it. I don't prefer metal bracelets (usually switch to leather or nylon - or neoprene - NATOs), but in this case I liked it and the solid clasp enough to keep it, for now. The clasp is also a bit stiff, but eventually loosens with use. Oh, and the screw back is transparent so you can see the movement and its bright yellow rotor, which isn't obvious to anyone unless you show them, but which is a nice feature to show off if they compliment the watch enough for you to want to let them in on it. Call it a conversation piece. Yes, Invictas have their detractors, and some of the larger models are too flashy or just too BIG...but this isn't one of those. It has character and presence, but it does not dwarf your wrist. It will look great on a sport band or a NATO, so feel free to rotate. Really, for well under $100, it's a swell addition to your collection, especially if you're into old-school movements (and this is a good one to have running things). Don't let the blue bezel and violet face bother you...it does depend somewhat on the kind of lighting, and there is a model with a more definitely blue face if you prefer. For the money, this is a perfect diver that doubles as a dress watch. Mine received a compliment on its very first day out...true story. If you want to swap the band, check out the nylon Art-Style brand with either black or silver buckles...at $9-12 each you can have several (22mm) to match your moods.
