I spend several hours a day at my computer and after several years, my really nice Serta Office Chair was no longer comfortable on my bottom. My wife bought a nice flat pad on Amazon, but after a couple months it lost it's cushioning. In my late 70's I don't want to buy and a new expensive office chair, so I looked at many cushions on Amazon. Soooo many to choose from and all claim to be great with many features or "Recommended by xxx" or "Top Seller" or "Amazon Choice" and “Great Reviews”.I don’t want “Hype” or funky claims, just real facts. I'm 6'2" and 270# so I really need a big, wide and thick pad plus a contoured pad would be better than flat. I don't have issues with my tail bone, back or pelvis, just couldn't sit more than 30 to 60 minutes with or without the pad my wife bought.I looked at many and sorted out the fluff. Now I've had the 19.7" Gel Seat Cushion by Rapiro for 2 full months and so happy I bought it. At first I was concerned about the high ‘Hip Sculpting” places because they didn’t quite fit my bottom, but after the week I don’t even notice them anymore. It stays in place on my chair and stays cool, a plus for me. It is very comfortable and has maintained it’s shape. Now I can sit for several hours and no longer have a sore bottom. It’s so comfortable I had set an alarm to get up once in awhile and not be so inactive.

I purchased this as an option for a car cushion in colder weather. I have been using a Cushion Lab-type memory foam cushion in my car which is great for the summer, but in colder temperatures, it starts out like a rock until it warms-up enough to soften and actually provide cushion. With it getting colder now, I figured I would give a gel cushion a try since it wouldn't be affected by the temperature.I am happy I ordered this one because it has similar contours as my memory foam cushion, and it is very comfortable to sit on for long drives. It is heavier than the memory foam one, but that is actually a good thing, as the weight helps to keep it in place. Obviously, different cars vary, but this cushion fits over my car seat perfectly. My only complaint is that I wish it would have had a more stretchy fabric-like cover instead of a mesh one. It is still comfortable, but the fabric would simply look better and richer than the mesh. I realize the mesh is likely there for functionality (to increase air flow) and no one really sees it when I am sitting on it, so it doesn't affect my rating in any negative way. I haven't had to wash it yet but I get the impression that would be easy, as well.

Very comfortable would buy it again

I started having some sciatica issues from sitting at my desk all day long so I decided to buy a cushion for my chair. However, most of the ones out there in the market are too small for my chair and me since I’m 6’4”. Therefore, I did a lot of research looking for a large, thick seat cushion, and this one fit the bill just perfectly. It is thick, heavy, and appears to be very well made. My only complaint would be that because the cushion is basically rectangular and not extremely contoured and because I tend to lean back and slouch down in my chair, I can sometimes feel the back of the cushion starting to roll forward under me. However, it doesn’t actually slide off of the chair or anything. Some of the less rectangular and more contoured cushions out there actually change your posture so that this doesn’t happen. I bought 3 other cushions of differing brands when I bought this one, but this was the only gel cushion of the group. I was planning on only keeping the one that I liked the most, but I like all of them for different reasons, and now I cannot decide which I like the best so I’ll probably end up keeping all 4 of them. If you’re someone who doesn’t like getting all sweaty in your chair, then this is probably the cushion for you. The gel material and the honeycomb design makes it cooler than any of the regular foam cushions.

This is a pretty good cushion. Does exactly what it says it's going to, but I find my tailbone is aching by the end of the day. I paired it with a donut cushion and that seems to have fixed my issues.

I love this pillow. My friend suggested this pillow to me because I am a bus driver and I suffer with sciatica and it really helps.
