KraveBeauty Great Barrier Relief Face Serum for Dry, Sensitive Skin, 45 mL

I didn't want to be proven that an almost $30 serum would actually work for me because then that means I have to continue to include it in my budget as it's now a holy grail. I got this product because I occasionally use actives in my skincare routine (I alternate between lactic acid and Prequels exfoliating toner milk) and with the weather warming up and the UV increasing, my skin has started to show immense sensitivity and irritation despite wearing SPF 50 and reapplying as recommended. I use prequel redness reform face wash along with a mugwort+centella serum and that still wasn't enough so I knew I had to do something. The picture attached to my review shows the top as the before and the bottom as the after. This is only from 4 days of use!!! I know it probably doesn't LOOK like much but the biggest difference was how my skin used to feel and how it feels now. It's not sensitive to the touch and so dry its TIGHT. My skin loves this serum, it absorbs nicely and I like the finish it gives my skin too. As for the smell. it does have a strong mineral-like smell. I personally don't mind it at all, Im used to strong herbal scents from teas and herbal body products but I understand why so many have pointed it out. Anyways, thank you KraveBeauty(

Okay...I can't believe I'm saying this, but it really works for acne. At least for mine. I'm about to turn 41 and have suffered with chin acne for nearly a decade. I've tried way way way too many products, and most things make me break out more. I heard about this and the matcha hemp cleanser years ago and how they're good for sensitive skin and acne. I only just now decided okay well might as well give this a try...and I really should've tried it sooner. In just 2 weeks, I genuinely have seen an improvement in my troubled areas. It has not irritated my skin or caused additional breakouts. My skin feels very soothed. The product is light weight and not greasy. The only teeny tiny downside is that it smells like celery. My face now smells like celery. At first I did question if I could deal with that, because it felt quite strong. But tbh, within a couple days I stopped even noticing it. And the benefits totally outweigh the celery smell. I will 100000% be purchasing this again. Without question.

After reading so many reviews about how this helped people with cystic and/or hormonal acne, I decided to give it a try. All acne products are drying and taking a skin barrier repair approach was different for me. I’ve got to say, this has become a staple in my daily skin care routine! It moisturizers like no other. I pair it with true botanicals radiance oil, Anua heartleaf toner (never thought toner was necessary but it’s a staple for me now—pour it in your hands instead of using a cotton pad), and La Roche Posay’s double repair moisturizer. I haven’t been breaking out at ALL!!! So so grateful. Also FWIW I take DIM and DHT blocker, which both have been lifesavers for my hormonal acne. No prescriptions anymore!

Moisturizes and balances skin. Slight earthy/nutty smell but not a major problem at all/easy to adjust to and well worth it for how much this has helped my skin. This made me try other Krave products, and I keep a bottle with my anywhere I travel now.

love the natural scent and feel as it goes on. It helps calm my rosacea also

I seriously like everything about this product besides the SMELL. I know face products are better of without a scent, but this smells like a box of crayons left to 10 years of dust and humidity. Fwoof. It goes on really well and pairs real well after a milk peel. I feel real oily for a few minutes after but it absorbs fairly quickly after that. Between this and a peel, I've seen a noticable change to my skin in a positive direction.

While this did help repair my barrier, it caused me to break out. I have oily skin that breaks out on occasion but since using this, I’ve had new break outs daily! I wish it worked for me like it did everyone else. I think it’s too heavy for my skin.

Quite possibly my favorite skincare product I've ever used! So hydrating and soothing. My skin feels incredibly luxurious after I use this! It does have an earthy scent to it but honestly you get used to that pretty quickly and I even grew to actually like the scent.

Used once and the smell is disgusting. Won't be using again.
