It fit very well but I think I also could have worn a small. I have broad shoulders so that is always why I order a size up. it hit me at the knee and I wore it with tights and ankle boots. I didn't even add jewelry. It didn't need it. I have neve received so many compliments on a dress. Men and women were stopping me to tell me how pretty my dress was. It is a heavy fabric so I was warm but not hot. It has nice deep pockets. The embroidery is beautiful and it is exactly as pictured. I just can't say enough about it. I can't wait to wear it again and I can't wait to order more from this company. The price for this dress is remarkable. Since the dress was so gorgeous I ordered another one which is not normal for me, usually the item is out after a strike like this. Crossing my fingers that it’s comes back perfect.UPDATE: The dress came back perfect.
