Does it come with installation instructions? What's the best way to install it for maximum results?

1.Remove & Clean: Take off interior panels; clean and dry surfaces 2.Cut to Fit: Pre-cut insulation for doors, floor, and roof 3.Apply & Seal: Peel, stick, then seal seams with foil tape (sold separately) 4.Reinstall: Replace all interior components

What's the difference between Aluminum Foil and Closed-cell Foam? What are the best sound deadening solutions for sound?

394mil Aluminum Foil excels in heat blocking. 157mil Closed-cell Foam (higher density) is better for soundproofing. For best results: combine 157mil foam with Butyl Sound Deadener (sold separately) to kill vibration and block noise effectively.

How do I properly install the Butyl + 157mil High-Density Closed-cell Foam combination?

1. Remove, Clean & Cut. 2. Apply butyl sheets(50–60% coverage is optimal), damping vibration, reducing low-frequency noise. 3. Install foam over butyl. Effectively blocks mid-high frequency noise. 4. Check. This combo ensures optimal noise reduction.

How do sound deadening materials work to reduce noise? Can it reduce road noise? Can it be used on car doors?

Yes, Closed-cell Foam reduces road noise through:1.Sound absorption (energy to heat conversion) 2.Acoustic impedance reflection 3.Mass law blocking of mid-high frequencies. Its structure effectively reduces road/wind noise transmission into cabin.

Does it require any special tools for the installation? Is a roller necessary?

Basic tools: gloves, utility knife, measuring tape. A roller (sold separately) is highly recommended to ensure proper adhesion of butyl/foam. Aluminum foil tape is essential for sealing seams. Keeping surfaces clean is crucial for optimal results.

Excellent adhesion and sound deadening

I used these on my radon fan and pipe and they reduced the noise considerably. Make sure you don't stick them somewhere by mistake - they do NOT come off without a lot of scraping. Ordered more.
