I have only used this for hot chocolate but I love it much better than the original velvetisser because it actually makes the chocolate hotter. It’s a breeze to clean and it just looks nice. It makes the chocolate nice and creamy. The on and off switch is easy to use and it is very quiet. It makes the perfect size cup. It may be a little costly but for me the taste and ease make it worth the price.

Works perfectly. I use Ghirardelli dark cocoa to make hot chocolate and it comes out perfectly blended and at the right temp to enjoy right away.

10/10. This is a treat and something I know I'll use until it breaks! Favorite flavor so far is the 70% hot mix.

I purchased this Velvetiser because of its reviews. It looks like a solid build and the chocolate kit is good quality. Unfortunately for me, the Velvetiser unit is stained. I tried gentle soap, warm water, warm towel, microfiber towel, and unfortunately nothing works. The stain won't go away no matter what I do. Shame! Another problem is I think I got a defective unit because every time I try making hot drink, half of the chocolate nibs are always there (lid on of course). They never completely dissolve with this unit even after the unit turns off on its own and I wait for an additional minute before serving. I really want to love this unit but I just can't considering these problems. I can't return the unit because shipping cost is almost the same as the value I paid for the system. To add insult to injury, out of excitement I also spent another $170 buying all of their chocolate variations. Now I don't have a reliable unit to taste all these delicious drinks. Bummer!

Unlike other brands we have tried the Velvetiser made hot drinks HOT, not luke warm. We love it.
