INCREDIBLE playhouse but a LOT of work!! *by on Reviewed in the United States August 22, 2026* This arrives as two enormous pallets on a truck and must be removed with a machine. The wood comes unfinished in Pine. You must build and paint the house yourself or hire people to do so. I used a professional contractor, and he first built a raised area of rocks above the grass, so that the wood would not Rot. He then spent about 3 weeks erecting the walls and roof. He went to the hardware store to buy the shingles, the indoor flooring, wallpaper, etc. We got professional house painters so paint it pink and white. My 2-3 year old daughter absolutely LOVES it and is is a major draw for her friends from school and the neighborhood who LOVE to come and play house. I'm very glad I didn't get the version with an "upstairs" because at 6x8' the interior space is way too cramped for another level. I couldn't find a dining table to fit so I special ordered one from Denmark. If only it had a bathroom and A/C I could probably put it on AirBnb and rent it out, it's so CUTE!!!!
