this product is amazing.Pros: definitely stops the itch, cooling feeling, quick dry, easy to use, life saver, good for sensitive skin.Cons: tricky to get the clear extension tube attached to the spray nozzle (especially with a broken hand, really need two hands to connect it) as others have mentioned.Other notes:- it does provide some momentary moisture which is technically against the casting rules, but it dries very quickly/the cast cotton tends to absorb it fine without impacting the fiberglass material.- leaves a light power residue which was a bit odd to see during the cast removal, so would recommend using a long itching stick to clear out the residue every now and then to prevent residue build-up.- i have EXTREMELY sensitive skin but this product worked extremely well and would recommend/gift it to anyone that is newly placed in a cast.

What a LIFESAVER!!! I had a huge ankle reconstruction surgery a few weeks ago and the itch started over the last week. I scoured the Internet looking for something that might help (after, embarrassingly, I went as far as putting anti itch cream on a paint stick and stuck it down my cast to try to get some relief...I know, I know, bad idea..but if you’ve ever experienced this itch, you would understand. No sleep, no peace, no sanity when it starts).I found this product when googling:..then found it on Amazon! I was super excited...even more so when the product arrived in 1 day instead of 2!!!The applicator is a tight fit...but it wasn’t that difficult to put together. I have used it many, many times and have not had any issues with the applicator coming out. Not even once.After spraying into the cast, it stops the itch immediately and the relief lasts for a good while!! I keep it within arms reach all day and night so I can access it easily and immediately when it’s needed.I cannot thank the creator enough for this product. I was seriously going crazy with this terrible, insanity causing itch! I am also so thankful this product arrived 1 day prior to the expected delivery date (especially during this pandemic)!!!

The contents of the bottle work really well at preventing smell and itching in my foot cast. It even helps prevent my ankle from feeling chafed when I’m walking on it. Though I’m using it in the winter and it might be less effective in the summer with increased sweating. The downside is the design of the applicator- you have to just hold a long straw to the nozzle and spray. When it fits perfectly it works well and directs the entire spray into the cast through the straw, but I find that at least 75% of the time half of the spray ends up on my fingers because the straw isn’t perfectly fit. I would recommend a better bottle design. Though right now this is the only spray I found on amazon so I would buy it again if there were no better options because it does do its job to a degree.

My 9 year-old broke her arm and the first couple nights in her cast were filled with tears. She's a strong girl, but the persistent itching was just too much for her to sleep. Tapping on the cast to help with the itching only worked for a minute or so and it would just come back. In an effort to do something, I bought this product and it was a life saver. I don't know if it's the product itself or if it's psychosomatic or both, but it does the trick. A short burst of the spray cools the area and makes the itching stop for a notable while.I read a few of the reviews about issues with inserting the tube into the can, so I was prepared for issues if they came up. Although the tube is a really tight fit, it did ultimately go in with some effort. It reminded me of trying to insert the little red tube in a can of WD-40 back in the day. It will take a firm grip and some strength, but it should go in.

I wouldn’t recommend this. It makes the inside of your cast wet and itch more. I used it for my toddler son on his broken arm and he had to go get a new cast a day later as his cast stretched out from being damp.

This stuff is awesome. My daughter broke her hand and was hard casted for 3 weeks. As a dancer she sweats a lot but we would do this every night. Not any complaints of itch and it deodorizes great. Her arm wasn’t smelly at all when they took her cast off today. Completely recommend.

The straw that came with the spray is hard to use. It doesnt fit well with the nozzle

I truthfully don’t understand why anybody wouldn’t give this product five stars I recently broke my hand after four days my hands smell like a foot. I’m telling you right now the stuff is worth absolutely every penny. I get the cast off next week and originally bought two cans because I figured I’d have to apply it every day. From my experience I can’t understand why anybody would complain. There is a very faint butane smell when you first apply it but it dissipates after a few minutes it stops the itching it dries out the cast and completely illuminate all older even if it already stinks. Not only would I highly recommend it but god for bId if I break another bone it will be the first purchase I make after getting the cast. My brothers an orthopedic surgeon and I told him he needs to tell everyone of his customers about it. Just make sure you shake the can and will be for each application and although the small tune Is kind of a pain what’s the deal with it’s an effective delivery system kudos to the manufacture.
