Lever Grip that Fits a Variety of Lock Boxes The ShurLok lever grip is made to fit all mechanical lockboxes not just the ShurLok lock box. If you have a dial, punch button, etc. lockbox, this lever grip will work with it. We would love you to use it with a ShurLok but if you already have a different brand, dont worry! This lever grip will do the trick. Note that this real estate lock box lever grip will not work with electronic lockboxes. Works Wonders with Lever Door Handles With the large amount of lever door handles out there, this lever grip is the perfect solution to keep your lockbox gripped to the door handle. This ShurLok lever grip works on most styles of door levers but note that it will not work with commercial grade door levers as they are too thick. It is designed to open up around the base of the handle and then close and lock around it with the lockbox installed. Installing the Lever Grip and the Lock Box To begin, place the lever grip at the base of the door lever with the logo facing forwards. Then, open the shackle of the ShurLok or other lock box 180 degrees and slide it over the lever grip. It is best to come from the right side. Lastly, while everything is in place, lock the shackle and the lockbox will now be secured to the door handle. Review: perfect solution to my lever door handle - I have a need to use a temporary lock box for my apt. lever handle door. I had not even thought about the problem with it until I received it and realized that it would easily slip over the handle. Of course, I checked with desertcart and there was my solution. Did not even know such a thing existed. Perfect, easy to use and absolutely will keep the lock box on the door handle. Update: Found it necessary to use a zip tie in front of the lock because there was just enough space to allow everything to slip over the handle and be removed. By using a thin zip tie the box stayed firmly in place.

**Q: Will it fit an igloo lock box?**
A: I do not know.  The ShurLok website has some details with respect to dimensions, etc. that may help you.

**Q: does it work with shurlok II?   I cannot get the hasp over the lever grip.**
A: It works with the II but it is a tight fit for all so they can be slipped off.

**Q: The description says it will not work with commercial grade door levers. What size lever will it fit?**
A: It does not work well on residential lever-handle door hardware as it can be easily slid off.  It's really designed for conventional door knobs.

**Q: Can I use it to keep a lever door from opening by my dog**
A: No, it's designed to have a lockbox attached to the door handle.

This product has no instructions other than the ones here, and when you put your lock on it, mine being a BosVision, it won't lock OR come back off, so both products are useless. They need a list of compatible locks. Here's what the description says: "Works for ShurLok Lock Boxes and all mechanical other lock boxes and attaches to most lever style door handles with its simple yet intuitive design". Well, it doesn't. So, I think I have to break it off to use the lock for another doorknob. The product will work if you have the right lock, I think, but they have an error in the description.
