I don't even want to say that for the price these ones sound great, because they put out some deceptively great sound. The build quality is more than decent and extras like wall mounts are a nice touch. I bought some banana plugs to use with my amp but the pin type plugs you can get probably would not work with these speakers unless you're wall or stand mounting them (as there is no clearance underneath if placed directly on a flat surface). I also don't fully understand the situation where someone would need a left and right connection to a subwoofer, so I simply have my single subwoofer out on my amp running to the right input on the sub and it seems to work fine. I may replace it with a Y connector eventually. My only complaint is minor, and that's with the subwoofer - it puts out an audible hum when there's no sound. It seems to be linked when switching inputs with the amp, but thankfully it's not a constant thing (thankfully!). The auto on feature works well and while it won't fill a big room it's got a decent punch to it. Review: BIg Bang for low price speakers--just love them! - I just purchased these a few days ago and they arrived very nicely in the mail. I got them for lower as it was a warehouse deal, but it was well worth it. I was aware that they do not come with speaker wire as the suggestion came up when I was ordering to add speaker wire to the order so I did just that. It would definitely come in handy. For the speaker wire, I bought the RCA 16 gauge 100 foot package. This worked out perfectly and I had some left over speaker wire that will come in handy since I have a cat who likes to chew (odd, I know). It took me a little while to get everything setup. Make sure that if you don't have already precut speaker wires that you get a wire cutter which will cut off the ends of the speaker wire so you can twist them. This will make it a lot easier to cut through the wire and thread them through the holes. One thing that is different about the speakers was the fact that you have to push down on these little brackets on the back of the speaker to then thread the wire though. I read some reviews where people said this was hard, I found it quite easy to thread them through. I have a Sony receiver which you have to thread the other end of the wire and then twist the knob to keep the wire tight. I liked the press and release much better. Additionally, they come with mounts! When I first opened the package I was thinking, how in the world am I going to mount this like my older speakers? Sure enough, there were mounts. They were very easy to mount to the wall also. If you don't have any extra screws lying around, you will need to order some when you get this package or you can run to Home Depot. After wiring and setting everything up, I recalibrated my surround sound system (to each their own, some systems do not do this) and tested it out. I have to say, I LOVE the sound of the speakers! I feel like I am immersed in sound within my living room. I had co-workers trying to convince me to get rid of my surround sound and get a soundbar, they have no idea! Surround sound is the way to go! As for the quality of the speakers, they are a little on the heavy side, but not too heavy. They are very good qualify outside and sound great hooked up to my Sony 5.1 Surround Sound System (receiver is NOT included in the package, these are most likely replacement speakers or for those that bought the receiver and not the speakers). Overall, I am so very happy with my purchase and would recommend these to anyone! Even the woofer sounds great with the surround sound, which I didn't have before! ## Features - This speaker system features four satellite speakers and a center channel speaker for the mid- and high-range audio signals, plus an 8 inch powered subwoofer to handle the low frequencies. All the speakers come with an attractive black finish and convenient spring-loaded signal connectors. - The center speakers use two 3 inch shielded mid-range cones, while the satellites employ one 3 inch cone and a 1/2 inch dome tweeter. However, don't let the small size fool you! These 8ohm speakers will handle up to 125 watts of power from your home theater receiver at frequencies from 150Hz to 20kHz. - The subwoofer is powered by a 60 watt (RMS) amplifier, driving a downward firing 8 inch cone. It can take either line or speaker-level inputs, so can be used with any amplifier, even older amps without dedicated subwoofer outputs. The subwoofer handles frequencies between 50Hz to 250Hz and includes adjustable crossover frequency and volume balance controls. - Also included in the box are four C brackets for mounting the satellite speakers to the wall and the necessary hardware for mounting the speakers to the brackets. A pair of plastic feet to properly orient the face of the center speaker is also included. Note that you will need to provide your own hardware for mounting the C brackets to the wall or other vertical surface. - Note: The speaker wire connectors on each unit comfortably accept a maximum 16 gauge speaker wire. For best results, Monoprice strongly recommends using pin-type speaker plugs to make the speaker connections and banana or pin-type plugs to connect the wires to your amplifier. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B007YLQUWK | | GTIN (Global Trade Identification Number) | 00844660082477 | | MP3プレーヤー付属 | いいえ | | UPC | 844660082477 | | おすすめ度 | 5つ星のうち4.2 710 レビュー | | インピーダンス | 8 オーム | | オーディオドライバーの種類 | ダイナミックドライバー | | サブウーファースピーカーの直径 | 8 インチ | | スピーカーの種類 | サテライト, サブウーファー, センタースピーカー | | スピーカーサイズ:(cm) | 8 インチ | | スピーカータイプ | サテライト, サブウーファー, センタースピーカー | | スピーカーチャンネル構成 | 5.1 | | スピーカー最大出力 | 125 ワット | | バッテリ平均持続時間 | 24 時間 | | ブランド | Monoprice | | ブランド名 | Monoprice | | メーカー名 | Monoprice | | レンズマウントの種類 | ウォールマウント | | 互換デバイス | テレビ | | 取り付けタイプ | ウォールマウント | | 商品の推奨用途 | テレビ用 | | 商品の追加説明1 | Amplifier | | 商品の重量 | 27.6 ポンド | | 型番 | 108247 | | 最大レンジ | 9 メートル | | 最大出力 | 125 ワット | | 特徴 | Amplifier | | 管理方法 | 遠隔 | | 製品の推奨用途 | テレビ用 | | 防水 | FALSE | | 電気 | いいえ | ## Product Details - **スピーカータイプ:** サテライト, サブウーファー, センタースピーカー - **スピーカー最大出力:** 125 ワット - **ブランド:** Monoprice - **取り付けタイプ:** ウォールマウント - **特徴:** Amplifier ## Images ![Monoprice Monoprice 5.1 Channel Home Theater Satellite Speakers and Subwoofer, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61TgDgd2OBL.jpg) ![Monoprice Monoprice 5.1 Channel Home Theater Satellite Speakers and Subwoofer, Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71upu6NSbHL.jpg) ![Monoprice Monoprice 5.1 Channel Home Theater Satellite Speakers and Subwoofer, Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71nck3l967L.jpg) ![Monoprice Monoprice 5.1 Channel Home Theater Satellite Speakers and Subwoofer, Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/518Lg2g8yTL.jpg) ![Monoprice Monoprice 5.1 Channel Home Theater Satellite Speakers and Subwoofer, Black - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/710n9aKkoGL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What are the dimensions of the individual speakers? I'm espescially curious on the size of the center channel.** A: The center channel is 4x9.5x4 Height, width, Depth respectively. The Subwoofer:12x10x12, The Satellites are :6x4x4 **Q: Could anyone recommend a set of towers to make this a 7.1 system?** A: I would definitely agree. Monoprice sells a set of two of the speakers separately for use on their own as a 2 channel system or as an add on to this 5.1 system to make it 7.1. They even sell the subwoofer separately as well if you ever want to upgrade to a true 7.2 system. Then everything will be perfectly matched. Make sure to get the correct set of two Premium Monoprice speakers. Monoprice also sells a lower quality standard 5.1 surround sound system and a set of two extras of that type as well. If you have the correct set, they will exactly match the speakers in the Monoprice Premium 5.1 surround sound speaker set. I know this because I actually had what I thought was the correct one in my shopping cart only to find out it was the wrong set just before pulling the trigger. So it's an easy mistake to make even when you've done a bunch of research. I hope you enjoy your system. They are absolutely amazing speakers. My family is constantly amazed at how much information and nuance is embedded in soundtracks of our favorite movies and shows that we never heard with our previous home theater system. It's like a completely different experience now. Good luck. **Q: Could I use this with a receiver and what would I need to do to get it to work correctly?** A: It will work with any 80-100w/ channel receiver. Connect using banana plugs and 14 gauge speaker wire. Make sure to get the woofer spreaker cable with a Y splitter. Monoprice website sells all the cables you need at a great price. Better than amazon **Q: What speaker stands work with the Monoprice 10565?** A: Any stand will work. I purchased wall mounts for my surround speakers. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great budget speakers *by E***K on 2015年6月28日にカナダでレビュー済み* These are a great inexpensive set of speakers - I was more interested in their bigger brother, but Monoprice doesn't sell them through Amazon.ca just yet and their final cost otherwise would have ended up being more than $300.
