Big difference. Without long explanation this works basically like a standard scope as opposed to the reflecting light of a red dot. This also means you get an etched reticle that works fine without illumination.. still gives perfect black reticle with dead batteries. I have their older model and it solved my astigmatism problem with red dots. **Q: What kind of batteries dose it take?** A: Well uh, as it states on Amazon in the description....cr2032. **Q: What would be the best fit riser to get for this optic?** A: It would depend on the person and weapon it's being put on. I got a low Mount riser the my AR but that was for the way I shoot. Will have to chance it and hope the one you get works for you. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality with a great price. *by on Reviewed in the United States August 19, 2026* Great value for the price. I love Monstrum products. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ excellent budget CQC optics *by on Reviewed in the United States August 18, 2026* For the price, these are excellent budget CQC optics. Effective out to 300 meters. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Only the circle dot comes with both green and red illumination. *by on Reviewed in the United States July 13, 2023* The optic is very nice. Clear view, nice magnification. Seems to be well built, have not shot with it yet for the one reason i gave it 4 stars. The description indicates that it has both red and green illumination on all models. It only comes on the circle dot model. This information is directly from the manufacturer. So keep that in mind when ordering. ## Frequently Bought Together - Monstrum P330-B Marksman 3X Prism Scope - Monstrum Tactical Low Profile Picatinny Riser Mount with Quick Release, for Red Dots, Scopes, and Optics (0.5 inch H x 2.5 inch L) - Monstrum Lockdown Series Adjustable Height Picatinny Riser Mount with Quick Release | 2.5 inch --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/769059093-p330-b-marksman-3x-prism-scope](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/769059093-p330-b-marksman-3x-prism-scope) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
