Rubie's Child's Gothic Vampiress Costume, Large

Great affordable vampire costume! I bought this for my 5 year old daughter. She is pretty tall for her age and slender. bought the size small for ages 4-6 and it fit great! It was a little long but that was easy enough to gathering the fabric and securing it with a hair tie.It is made of good material. It's not at all see through which can be a concern for costumes anymore. The sleeves were the perfect length.The only issue we had was getting the neck cape thing to stand up like in the picture. She ended up just not wearing it at all, which wasn't a huge deal.I would definitely recommend this costume for any future vampiresses out there.

My daughter wore this for halloween and had a lot of fun with the costume. The neck piece was just a foam piece that really didn't stand up very well. It kept laying down around her shoulders. We bought a cheep pair of fake fangs from Wal-mart and she was very happy with it. The quality is typical of something from Wal-mart but for the price I wouldn't expect more. It is January now and it has moved into the dress up box and my girls still play with the dress part. The collar is now in the trash. It was worth the $ because they play with it. Funny thing is since they don't have the collar it is more of a princess dress.

Ordered this for my 6 year old daughter. Received this today and daughter is already wearing it. Arrived in 3 days from seller. Ordered size Small. Daughter is 46lbs and 46 inches tall. The Small fit perfect with extra room for layering underneath. The length hits right at my daughter's ankles. Quality is fine for a costume and for $16 can't complain. It's thin material. The collar stands up well. Other reviews stated that the collar was falling down. It folds upward in the back. It's made of thin foam. Overall it's a nice girls vampire costume. My daughter is pleased with it. Very happy I ordered the Small. Other recent reviews didn't specify what size was purchased and how old their child was and weight/height. So hope this helps.

We received this costume in the mail for our five year old today. She is extremely excited about it and loves it overall, but I feel compelled to give an adult's opinion for future buyers. I would like to start by saying that it isn't too bad for the price. Sizing guidelines suggested we purchase a small and it swallows my five year old, who is average size. I think I will end up doing some altering of it before Halloween. Other reviews said they had a problem getting the collar to stand up right. As long as you flip the bottom piece out away from the neck it stands up fine. The stitching on the sleeves is not that great and it arrived to us frayed a little. It isn't that noticeable and definitely not worth mailing it back for. Over all it is okay for the price, but it definitely isn't worth more than they have it listed for.

A few negative reviews and such a low price had me nervous about this costume, but I wasn't at all disappointed. The trim and details look like a standard mid-priced costume sold at Halloween stores. Although the material is a little thin, it's still fairly well constructed and I think it would last a long time if taken care of. The velour portions are actually a bit thicker than I expected. I don't know that the collar would stand up as well as it does in the picture, but it actually doesn't look too bad laying down.The length descriptions are quite accurate. At 48", my daughter falls in between the medium and small height listings, and I probably should have gone with the small because the medium is a little too long and has ample room in the waist. If you're uncertain, I'd recommend going with the smaller of two sizes since the material is very stretchy and cut roomy.

It's a good look, but I found it hard for the collar to stay standing up. Also, it only included one string & I used that for the collar, so I used an old shoe string for the actual dress part of the costume.

Very cute! It was a little big and we wanted a more fitted look so we pinned it in the back. Otherwise the fit was great. My girl is 5 years old. We added the butterfly wings, they do not come with the costume. My daughter felt the collar was too itchy so she only wore it for the picture but an easy fix if you line it with a soft fleece or something yourself.

Ce déguisement de vampire est très joli et produit un très bel effet. Le col doit être retenu dans les cheveux par une pince pour tenir droit mais ce n'est pas un problème. Il taille assez grand.
