Burpee 'Sun Gold' Hybrid, Sweet Orange Cherry Tomatoes, 30 Non-GMO Seeds

If you're looking for a tomato that disappears almost as fast as it ripens, Sun Gold is the one. These little golden-orange cherry tomatoes are incredibly sweet with just enough tang to keep you reaching for "just one more." I found myself eating more in the garden than I ever brought back inside. The plants are vigorous growers and loaded with clusters of fruit throughout the season. Once they get going, you'll be harvesting handfuls every few days. They also handled the summer heat surprisingly well with regular watering. A few things to know: Extremely sweet, almost candy-like flavor. Heavy producer once established. Great for snacking, salads, and kids who normally don't like tomatoes. The vines get large, so plan on using a sturdy cage or trellis. Pick them as soon as they turn deep golden-orange for the best flavor. The only downside? You'll probably wish you planted more. Between family members, neighbors, and "quality control" while walking through the garden, they don't last long. Overall: If I could only grow one cherry tomato variety, Sun Gold would be at the top of my list. Burpee delivered quality seed with excellent germination, and the flavor easily lives up to the hype.

So delicious! Incredibly productive. The only problem with them is that they are so good that when picking more go into me than into the basket. If you like cherry tomatoes then these are the ones you will grow every year.

I had a great harvest with these burpee sungolds. They are so sweet and so delicious we eat them right off the vine. I have a short harvest season and I'm still picking these delicious tomatoes I would definitely purchase this brand again next growing season. The colors are beautiful just delicious.

I've bought these twice in the past two years. I have had absolutely no issues with these seeds. Now, about the tomato. These are the sweetest cherry tomatoes you will ever taste. Google the tomato and you will see it is on top of everybody's list. I don't understand why I can't find these in nurseries in northeast Ohio which is why I started buying the seeds. I highly recommend these. They never disappoint.

0/5. These seeds had a very low germination rate, and the plants that did grow didn’t even grow into tomato plants. Very disappointed with this purchase and definitely would not recommend them.

Grew well, tasty, but not as many as expected.

Very good tomatoes, bright and tasty.

Plants only lived for a year and a half and stayed at a very small and stunted growth.
