Macro Photographers: Better than the NEEWER Portable Travel Mini 20''/ 50cm
I own both. Both are good small tripods, but the Smallrig is better. It is better in quality and tightness. Especially when it comes to the locking mechanisms. The ball on the Neewar is smooth, so you have to tighten a lot more--which in turn can move the camera. This is annoying if you are trying to level your camera using its onboard system. The Smallrig's ball is course, so when you level your camera perfectly, it stays that way when you tighten it. Also, if you do macro photography, the Neewer has a tendency to shift while taking your shots—causing your shots to fail. I have not had one instance where this happens with the Smallrig tripod. Finally: it holds more weight and you can invert the camera, which the Neewar cannot. Cheers!

Perfect for filming my makeup videos without taking over my whole table
I originally bought this tabletop tripod because I needed something small enough to use with my makeup setup, but tall enough to actually get a flattering filming angle — and this has been such a good find. I film a lot of makeup and beauty content at my table, and the height is perfect for positioning my camera right in front of me without having a huge tripod taking up all of my space. I can set it up, film, and fold it right back down when I’m finished. One of my favorite things about it is how portable it is. It folds down small enough that I can literally throw it inside my LV Speedy and take it with me when I want to film somewhere other than home. That was a big plus for me because I didn’t want another bulky piece of camera equipment to carry around. It feels like one of those simple purchases that makes your setup so much easier. If you create makeup videos, product content, tutorials, or just need a compact tripod for a tabletop setup, I definitely recommend this one.

Excellent tripod for the size
This thing is quite heavy for the size, but it extends a good amount. It was more than enough to get my Canon EOS R50 with 18-45mm Lens mounted and above my 27 inch monitor for live streaming. I do wish it had a tab of some kind to turn the screw on the mount plate, but amount of weight it's able to hold without much movement at all is still quite impressive. It's also easy to extend and retract once you understand the controls. The legs are controlled by the red tabs, and can even fold flat to the ground. The rubber feet can be loosened or unscrewed, and they're telescoping for even more added height if necessary. Holds my Canon EOS R50 with no problems whatsoever. It's the tripod I'm using most often for live streaming and video calls. It has been absolutely fantastic.

Small yet mighty
I bought this tripod long time ago, and I am still surprised its high quality and simple yet functional form. I use professional carbon fiber tripods for almost 20 years, Gitzo, different sizes. I bought this tripod mainly for carrying with me while walking in the city all day long, without paying the weight and size tax. I am using Fuji mirrorless cameras with this tripod, and it holds very steady. I testing in the mild wind, and I am surprised its steadiness. I also use it for table top shots for indoor. If you are planning to walk all day long, and do not want to carry bigger tripods on your back, this is great tripod, and can be attached your sling bag without any issue.

Good tripod, bubble level, worthless, should dump mounting plate for just a screw
For tripod, the small, that is likely to be used with even advanced point-and-shoot cameras, like the Sony XR 100, having a dedicated plate mound as opposed to just a screw could be counterproductive. In my experience, the plate mount prevents my putting the camera in and it’s dedicated case, and I find myself very much wishing for a thumb wheel under a screw in the ball head of this tripod. Everything else about this tripod, the height, weight, sturdiness of the carbon fiber, and ability of the ball head to be adjusted our well worth it’s place in the $50-$70 price range. (This includes the aluminum-legged version, which is about $10 less)

Well made and useful for certain photography projects
I purchased this to use photography for still life and macro work. I use it on a table top. I was very pleased with the quality. It is sturdy. The legs extend out 2 feet and can be laid flat on the table making a sturdy surface. the ball head is strong, it handles my Fuji XT5 and a 30 mm macro lens. I have purchased several items from Neewer before and have not been disappointed.

Its like a mini manfroto
I bought this to hold up my Podtrak p4 with a bracket I bought on Etsy. Though light weight it is extremely durable and dense in a way that it provides a sturdy base to keep it from tipipng over. I get to position my portable podcast recorder on my desk with me and position it in almost any direction needed. It doesn't appear that it will vibrate, or vibrate to any degree that it would effect recording. And it won't tip over if accidently knocked or bumped. I love Neewer products, they offer a good value for the money, it is compact for portability and seems to fit just about anything I will need to put on it. It looks just like and feels just like the quality of a Manfrotto.

I dont always leave reviews, but when I do...
Initial impression; I am pretty impressed. I have no prior experience with this brand. But this is nicer than I was expecting it to be. The fit and finish is really nice. It all feels quite solid. The adjustments all thread nice. Another reviewer made a comment stating that the included hex keys are not the correct size for the adapter screw. That reviewer does not realize that the hex key intended for the adapter screw has its own storage slot directly on the tripod so you do not have to carry/store it separately. It arrives pre-installed to its inconspicuous storage location. They did also include 2 more individual hex keys in bag that are compatible with the button head fasteners on the tripod. If this turns out to hold up, it will be have been well worth the price.

Aggancio della fotocamera instabile
Purtroppo le viti della testa non stringono bene e la fotocamera non rimane salda nella posizione scelta anche con obiettivi di stazza minima
