Great value!
I bought this for the top of my monopod and because (unlike the first one I ordered) it comes with headless bolts to attach it to the larger thread in the monopod.

Seems OK for its intended job
Bought this to sit on my Manfrotto Monopod (which has the option of 3/8 or 1/4 thread) so this head actually fitted the monopod without my need to buy a 1/4 bush. For the price £ 13.99 c/w 2 x quick release plates it seems good value for money and looks quite sturdy. I have also previously bought similar quick release plates separately before without issue and these look the same. I haven't road tested the head yet but it looks like it will be ok and all of the screws seem to tighten up well & without issues.. I will add that it did arrive in exactly the same "ball head" box as a previous commenter has stated, even though its a tilt head.

Well, you get what you pay for...
I bought this as a budget tilt head for a lightweight travel monopod (I have a larger head/monopod for heavy lenses). It's cheap, it's reasonably small, and it's (as specified) a tilt head with an Arca-compatible clamp on it (and a couple of included generic QR plates); that's the good news, and since I'll likely be keeping a camera strap around my neck that's good enough for me to use it.Here, though, are the list of niggles, roughly in decreasing order of importance, many of which could have been fixed without significantly affecting the cost, for anyone deciding whether to pay for a premium option...* The tilt hinge is the bolt that controls clamping. Because the outer arms of the hinge are attached to the QR clamp and not the tripod part, tightening the tilt clamp pivots the hinge unless held very firmly in place - making it pretty useless for precise positioning. Not a huge problem for a monopod; if I used this on a tripod it would be junk. Putting the arms on the base and the centre part on the QR clamp would have been an easy fix for this.* The QR clamp, while it seems firm, is tilted out alarmingly when clamped. It's normal for a small amount of bending to be present, especially in budget clamps, but the upper end of the moving part of the clamp is about 1mm farther away from the fixed part than the bottom.* The QR plates sit in the clamp significantly offset from the tripod mount. This means anything clamped for a panorama (admittedly an unlikely case) will have parallax issues, and the weight of the camera is applied slightly off-centre on a monopod, potentially adding a twisting moment. Presumably this allowed the moving part of the clamp to overlap the side of the hinge, but again it wouldn't have been a problem if the hinge was the other way up.* The base is milled out, presumably to save metal. It's also small (partly because the hinge is this way up...) so it doesn't have much friction area contact with the tripod. Any anti-rotation bolts may align with the holes, allowing partial rotation - and if the central tripod bolt is using a 3/8"-to-1/4" adaptor, it can unscrew.* The 3/8" tripod hole has no inset at the edges. Many 3/8"-to-1/4" adaptors have a flange at one end to simplify screwdriver access; on this head, the adaptor stands proud, moving the rest of the base away from the tripod apex. Despite owning several adaptors from different sources, I've had to order some more without (hopefully) a flange.* While the head seems reasonably robust, the tilt clamp knob is very plasticky, and may not survive an impact.* The QR clamp knob is on the long side, which given that it sticks out on the opposite side from the hinge clamp adds unnecessarily to the size of the head (which is otherwise compact and would be suited to travel). It's also got a bubble level on it, which seems unlikely to be useful for anything given its orientation (and the bending of the clamp) - harmless, but pointless. The level on the top of the clamp is potentially more useful.* Manufacture is a bit iffy. The head is painted, presumably for protection as well as aesthetics, but several sections have not received a full coat (especially inside the base). There are also some irregular marks on the hinge as though it's taken impacts during manufacture (before painting).* The box is labelled "ball head", which... the labelling had *one* job...* It would be nice to have a budget panning version available, although this would obviously add cost. Panning at the tripod end, in addition to allowing panoramas and subject tracking, also helps stop the head from unscrewing from the base. Panning at the clamp end makes it easier to use both lens and body QR plates, which are typically at right angles. For a more heavyweight product I'd only care about the current configuration for large lenses, but this head is small enough to be a travel product on a small monopod (or selfie stick), and there the flexibility would be useful. I've ordered a panning converter, but it adds about 1" to the height, and some weight.None of this is the end of the world, especially for the price (although several fixes needn't add to the cost) and "casual" (or lightweight travel) use, but they're problems my much larger and more expensive tilt head doesn't have. (Except, oddly, I think the box still said "ball head".) If they'd bother you - sorry, pay more.

Small and handy
Ideal for monopod two pieces of quick release plate very handy for two cameras more convenient than a tripod

Cant lockout, constantly slips and creeps.
i use it on a Giottos monopod holding a Nikon D700 with either an 80-200 or a 300 F4, both mounted on the lens collar and use it for sporting events, mainly rugby.Tightening up the wing nut as far as it goes and it still creeps. even holding onto the lens, he weight of the monopod causes the head to creep. It may be that this one is not up to the quality standard of the range but going by the one i have, its not one i can recommend. I notice it mostly while carrying it from pitch to pitch or just walking the side lines. Not a great purchase and a pain to work with.

Solid bit of kit
I recently ordered this off amazon as I wanted to try out a tilt head and this looked like an inexpensive way to dip my toes in the water, so to speak. The version of the Andoer M-12 offering another quick release plate for £1 extra caught my eye so that is what I went with. The item arrived on time and was exactly as ordered. This came to £14.99 at the time that I bought it and I was a bit wary as I had never bought anything from this manufacturer before . I needn't have worried as the product is very sturdy and robust and works a treat.
