Amazing bang for the buck
Beautiful! Excellent value for the price. They look like real linen and give off lovely diffuse light. The natural linen color compliments my oatmeal colored sofa perfectly and the shade is translucent enough to light a corner well. Would definitely recommend and would buy again.

Easy to Assemble is More Like a Nightmare
I’m not new to lamp shade assembly having ordered more affordable lamps from both wayfair and amazon that require both lamp and shade assembly. Some are easier than others and this one I rank a nightmare! As you assemble and clip the ring around the shade - you need something a little extra to grip the ring onto the shade as you go - and this one had nothing to help keep the shade in place on the ring. This is also a larger shade and the rings for it are heavier and it needs something like a glue strip or Velcro to help it stay in place. Many of the assemble lamp shades I have put together have a glue strip or Velcro and this one should have it too. Also, one of the clips to clip on the ring broke off the shade as I tried to clip it on because of the weight of the ring. It was lopsided the entire time I tried to assemble this and that was incredibly frustrating. Why did I even give it 3 stars? The pros are that the shade fabric is a nice, heavier weight and is sewn together very well - definitely quality sewing. The trim applied is also very nice quality and expertly applied. It feels like it will stay on there for years to come. I wanted to take three stars off for the lack of assembly quality and construction but I only took two off because I was so impressed with the quality of the shade fabric and sewing.Overall - this is a big NO for me because it broke during assembly and has become unusable. Also the design of the upper ring is strange. It really needs 4 spokes but only has 3 and looks weird and not uniform - this design makes one side of the shade have more support than the other. And, I believe it’s way overpriced for a lampshade that needs assembling.

Easy to assemble, DIY to fix.
When I first opened the box and looked at the shade and the pieces, I was amazed. I didn't know lampshades could be shipped like this and I was thrilled. I thought it was so neat. The overall design and fabric of this shade is decent. I loved how easy it was to assemble the shade. The ends of the fabric thoughtfully have an overlapping section with velcro to finish the look.Unfortunately, as another reviewer mentioned... the fabric trim pieces lining both the top and bottom of the shade buckle when the shade is assembled. What I found interesting was that I was able to slide my finger up under the strip, pull it up, tighten the piece and put it back down, and the residual glue appeared to hold it back down. So the issue appears to be that there was too much fabric used for the strip. I will probably still have to glue it back down - mostly because I have trust issues. But it looked much better after I did that. The question becomes.... should I have had to do that?Including photos, including the strip of excess material after I reapplied it.UPDATE: I left this sitting for a few days because I was re-doing my room. I did end up having to re-glue down the fabric strip on the top and bottom of the shade with some craft glue. I am still happy with how it looks, but it does require more assembly than it should for this reason.
