Global G-42/51-20" Wall Magnetic Holder

About 3 months now and like it more than I thought I would. Not only does it look nice it is a very strong magnet. Suggest anchor to wall stud but if not possible use EZ anchors or 1/4inch toggle bolt anchors, do not use little anchors or molly bolts as these may pull out in time. I mounted to the side of kitchen cabinet with wood screws. Could anchor to the side of your refrigerator as someone asked but with lots of care giving thought to location and possible hazards - falling knives - however doubtful. As for scratches I have not scratched anything but where ever you place take into account possible obstructions. The magnet mounts with screws which are concealed under black colored plastic end caps printed with Global in red. Wall magnet is 20 inches long by 2 in wide, stands 3/4 inch off the wall making it easy to grasp knives. I chose a location where knives would never be obstructed - have not removed the plastic protector to see how much grease accumulates in present location. Grease is a curse in a tiny kitchen.

I read all of the reviews on the cheaper ones, including videos of the knives sliding down the fridge - this one is too heavy to be anything but screw mounted, but I've got 12 knives securely hanging on it, and was thrilled to get it for half price merely because the outer packaging was torn. Will look for more "warehouse" deals

This thing is ridiculously beautiful! I hesitated because you can buy similar products for a fraction of the cost. But I am SO glad I shelled out the extra cash for the Global brand. My entire kitchen set is Global and this bar is no different in quality. It is HEAVY. Just beautifully solid and could not possibly be a better product.I LOVE this thing and it is really perfect in my kitchen. I want another one for some more knives and tools at some point. I cannot say enough about this and any Global products.

Solid quality - very strong magnet

Very heavy with powerful magnet. Very expensive but hopefully worth it. 50cm one holds all 11 of my Global knives, freeing worktop space and keeping them out of children’s reach. Note that it will mark paint unless you are very careful whilst positioning it. If you have hollow walls you will need some good fixings. Agree with a previous review that the plastic Global badges are the low point.

while expensive,this magnetic knife rack does a very good job of holding around ten or maybe eleven knives firmly attached. The magnet is strong and inspires confidence but given that you have paid nearly a ton for it , so it should.I changed the two supplied screws to stainless steel so as to leave off the black plastic end covers that have the large letters, GLOBAL spelt on them. It looks better in my humble opinion without the overt branding.All considered, it does exactly what it is supposed to do and I am very pleased about that.

I’ve bought three of theses over the years. They keep my knives sharp and rust free. Easily accessible and avoid accidents having knives in drawers.

A must buy for those of us who have a full set of Global knives. Lost a star because I feel it is way over-priced (everywhere, not just Amazon)

The best, just the best knives. The scissors are impressive too.
