Review: a simple but very effective way to add extra hanging space - needed somewhere to hang my thobes and dresses after ironing because they didn’t fit properly in my wardrobe, and this turned out to be a great solution. The tension rail was really easy to install and feels secure once in place. It has good tension and holds clothes well without slipping. It’s also very affordable, which makes it even better for such a practical fix. I was a bit worried it might look out of place, but it actually doesn’t look tacky at all and fits perfectly next to the wardrobe. It blends in nicely and looks neat. **Q: I can't work out how do you make it a tight enough fit, as the pole doesn't spring back...any better instructions as to how to fit tightly be great?**
A: You have to twist it slightly when in correct position, mine wouldn’t stay in position and after a lot of frustration 😤 I just twisted the ends and it has stayed in place on a heavily used door (my front door) I expected it to fall by the second day but it’s got to be a few months now and no movement whatsoever hope this helps 😀

**Q: How do i fit this without it slipping and falling as soon as i try hang anything? what could i be doing wrong?**
A: Not really sure why your expandable rod isn't staying put. I fitted mine in minutes making sure to tighten the locking screw and it has not moved since I put it there last summer.

**Q: Is this any good to use in the bathroom for shower curtain**
A: I doubt it. It's strong enough to support the curtain if fixed tightly but the plastic end stops against the wall are fixed to the bars and measure 6 cm x 5 cm. So you'd need curtain rings large enough to go over the end stops unless you remove and refit them.  In addition the screw fitment securing the bar at the right length sits in the middle of the bar and would prevent a smooth slide along the length of the bar. If you can find the right size rings and are prepared to faff around lifting the curtain across the screw fitting, or leave the curtain always drawn closed it might be OK. Not for me though.

**Q: Can these be joined together i puchased 3 and they are too small**
A: I wouldn't join them together because it wouldn't hold with clothes on them. You'll have to buy the bigger rail or a rail that you have to screw to the wall. Those ones are better for much wider wardrobe space
