Asustor AS6302T SAN/NAS Storage System

I always use Synology NASes but a close friend saw the specs of this NAS (Asustor 6302T) and urged me to give it a try so I bought it.After a month of use, I performed an ADM firmware upgrade and one of the Ethernet 1GBps ports started showing 10Mbps.I contacted Support and it took ages for them to respond. After instructing I change cables, reset the NAS and so on, the issue was not resolved.I was asked to ship it back for an RMA - No shipment address.Despite complaining that it was bought on Amazon and that the device is not in the US anymore.Fast forward to many ADM updates later, the port is no more showing in the ADM and an amber led shows there consistently.I've reset and re-initialized the NAS many times but no luck. The issue gets worse on every ADM update.Therefore, my NAS has only one usable Ethernet port & it is not up to a year.I regret buying these NASes for the following reasons.:1. Terrible technical support.2. Very limited and outdated apps. Google Chrome/Firefox is far outdated and has been prompting security warnings

Hatte das AS6302T 2-Bay zum einen als NAS gekauft, um wichtige Dokumente, Fotos etc. entsprechend zu sichern und zugänglich zu machen und um unsere Musik und Filme verwalten zu können. Nach dem ich es jetzt einige Tage in Betrieb habe kann ich nur sagen das es genau das macht was ich mir vorgestellt habe. Wenn man sich ein bisschen ein liest in die ganze Materie bekommt man alles zum Laufen. Die Oberflächen sind wirklich intuitiv und wenn man mal etwas nicht hin bekommt, gibt es genügend Hilfe im WWW. Bei mir läuft das NAS mit 2 x 4 TB WD Red Plus (für RAID 1) sowie 8 GB Arbeitsspeicher. Hatte die ersten 2 Tage nur die original 2 GB und nach der Aufrüstung auf 8 GB läuft alles deutlich flüssiger. Angeschlossen ist das NAS im Netzwerk und via HDMI direkt an einem SAMSUNG Fernseher. Zudem sind 2 zusätzliche externe Festplatten mit Mediendateien angeschlossen. Ich bin mehr als zufrieden, daher gibt's von mir eine klare Kaufentscheidung.

I searched and searched and searched every review, settled on the Asustor as good spec AND HDMI 2.0I specifically wanted it for direct HDMI to watch movies. I didn't t want to STREAM as our house is a busy house with regards, tablets, games consoles, wife working from home.This NAS does not work direct HDMI with either Plex or Emby so beware.The NAS is easy to use but I would say the OS is a little 3rd party and not as slick as say Synology.I feel bad writing but it's the truth, I feel I've been mis sold due to the HDMI problem.Yes it connects to the Asustor portal and you can open a media player but it's streams over your network via a webpage NOT HDMI.

Extrêmement silencieux, je me demande parfois si il fonctionne ! Il y a dedans 2 HDD WD Red pro Nas de 6To. J'ai remplacé les RAM ( 2x 1Go ) par une barrette de 8Go ( c'est le maximum ). Interface très compréhensible pour l'installation et les back-up. Vraiment un très bon achat que je ne regrette absolument pas . . . je vous le conseille.
