Much better than my more expensive car seat. This one seems to sit at the right angle in the car so if your child falls asleep, their head does not slump forwards or dramatically to the sides. Relatively easy to install with metal hooks that attach to metal anchors in car - seems stable.

This replaced a Cosco Scenera car seat, and I couldn't be happier. It's a bit heavier than the Scenera, but it's still not heavy by car seat standards. It's so much more stable in the car than the Cosco, and feels more substantial. Anyone looking for a travel seat for their toddler should just get this.

My wife usually takes our son in her car and has more advanced car seat that swivels, so this one was intended to be used for my car and when we travel by plane. We used it on a couple United flights. No issues getting through security and onto the plane. HOWEVER, I’m very happy we went with economy plus with the extra space between the seats in front of us, otherwise I doubt it would have fit in standard economy. It was making contact with the seat in front of us and I’m not sure what would have happened if they tried to recline. But it worked well and my son seams happy in it.

Unsafe in rear facing position. Don’t buy as a rear facing seat. No matter how tightly you snitch the seatbelt the seat will not localize. Smallest amount of side ways force causes the seat to twist. The latch mechanism is just as bad. May work better front facing but rear facing is absolutely not safe.

Lightweight and easy to take on travel. FAA approved. We used them multiple airlines in multiple types of aircraft. Note that you have to place it forward facing as to not prevent the decline of the seat in front of you.
