I use this for nursing sessions in the middle of the night so that i don’t wake baby or husband with a bright light. The dimming setting was the selling point for me and the warm orange tone keeps it cozy and relaxing. It makes a quiet clicking noise when turned completely off/on- dimming is silent/smooth. I keep it low all night so i can check on my baby with ease. It gets pretty bright & very dim! When it is really dim, mine flickers a little (its almost unnoticeable) but i kinda like it. It came with an extra bulb and overall the quality is amazing. It pretty much stays on constantly (i leave it mostly dim -never really fully brightened) and it has lasted me almost 3 months so far with one bulb. Love this & highly recommend it to all moms who breastfeed!!

Love this salt lamp! It is the 3rd one that we have purchased and going to get one more for another family member. It's calming and a nice addition to be used as a night light in bedrooms. It's packaged very well and it comes with an extra bulb. Just remember where you put the extra! Nice that you can adjust the brightness. Well made quality. You will love it!

It's a beautiful piece at a very reasonable price. It's larger than I anticipated and I am well pleased with it.

Has a lovely red glow and easy dimmer switch. However, the switch gets hot when left on for a few hours, and the lamp is smaller than advertised. It's 6.5" high with the base, and shorter without - not the promised 7". Not sure if I'll return it, but that's a definite bummer. *The company gave me a refund on this item because I wasn't completely satisfied. That's some incredible service

I really don't leave reviews, but I had to for this. It's a very unique, comforting lamp. The style fits perfectly in my rustic home and I have it in my bedroom on at all times on a lower, dimmed setting. The dimmer switch it quality and all around a quality lamp. It was packaged well, you get 2 bulbs and for the price it can't be beat. It is on the smaller side but it fits perfectly where I need it. Not sure of the health benefits as nothing has been tried and tested/proven but it looks super neat! I would definitely buy another.

This is exactly what I was expecting. It's a pretty hunk of rock with a light bulb inside. There were two light bulbs included in the package, and they were very well surrounded by foam. I read that these are not good for pets because pets have a tendency to lick them for the salt. I actually licked mine and it does indeed taste like salt! (I had to put it out of the usual path of our pets.) It seems sits, sturdy and strong. The base holds it quite well, so you know it's not going to fall over and it also won't get knocked over easily. It has a nice weight when you pick it up, and the height is around 7 in. It goes really well on a nightstand, or is a small light on a dresser to create a bit of mood. This is a great value for the money, and I expect that I'm going to use it for a long time.

I have several of these salt lamps in different rooms in my house and I keep them on all the time. The light adds a little something special to each room. It's not too bright even at it highest level. The light almost looks like a beautiful sky does at night. The base is solid and it comes with an extra bulb. It doesn't make any noise and the dimmer isn't that far away on the cord from the base itself. It serves better than a nightlight as it's not an in your face brightness. It gives a calming affect. It's not too big and not too small.
