Jadeite Glass Collection™ 1.25 Quart Mixing Bowl w/ Handle

As an old woman, I still cook at a lot and am thrilled this repro batter bowl is available. I can say from experience that this batter bowl is an excellent reproduction of the old Fire King batter bowl from decades ago. The weight is slightly heavier than the white one I have (an original one manufactured decades ago) so presumably it will be a little less fragile. I note that the the shape, size, and angles of the sides of the batter bowl, handle and everything else about making it very comfortable for me to use as my most frequently used batter bowl for hand mixing all types of a small to medium size batch of batter for muffins, pancakes, etc. I consider this a top reproduction. The pour spout does work great (no flat lip, minimal drips, great angle when pouring etc). Great in the kitchen of the home of someone who actually mixes batters frequently.

What an awesome jadeite bowl with pour spout! It I smooth and shiny with zero imperfections. It is heavy, yet not too heavy. Has a nice easy grip handle, even for my huge hands. Always hard to tell size, it is not huge by any means, more a medium sized bowl if I would have to guess. See lip balm for size comparison.The color is so nice and goes really well with all my black appliances. Great for mixing pancake batter, eggs for any meal, dough for bear claws or malasadas, etc.

I wish it was a bit thicker with the glass but all in all it was very pretty for the price point.

My old batter bowl finally broke after decades of use. This bowl is the exact same color & size! The perfect replacement! So glad I found this! For those of you that need a specific size, please look at the measurements given - they are there for a reason! Lack of stars due to not the expected size should not count.
