Okay, if you own a PetSafe ScoopFree litter box, you *know* these replacement trays are basically essential. This 3-pack is my go-to order every single time. Honestly, the whole ScoopFree system is built around making litter box duty less of a chore, and these pre-filled crystal litter trays are a huge part of that. Swapping them out is SO easy. You just slide the old one out, put the new one in, and you're done. No scooping, no wrestling with giant bags of litter, no dust clouds. It seriously takes maybe 30 seconds. The crystal litter itself is fantastic. We have two cats, and the odor control is really impressive. It absorbs moisture so well, and as long as you swap it out when the indicator tells you to (or when you just generally feel it's time, depending on your cat traffic!), you barely smell a thing. Definitely a huge upgrade from traditional clumping litter and those lingering smells that seem to attach themselves to everything. Getting the 3-pack is super convenient. It means I always have a fresh tray on hand, so there's no scrambling when one runs out unexpectedly. It just makes life a little easier, knowing I'm stocked up. I've been using this litter for years. It's so convenient, has barely any scent. The size is perfect for the Petsafe automatic litter box. It's a little pricey, but is worth the convenience of not having to clean the litter box everyday. It absorbs urine pretty well the first 2-3 weeks. After the 3rd week, I feel like the absorbency goes down a bit, which would make sense since there's less clean litter. It does get a bit dusty, which I noticed mostly on the lid of the litter box, but I keep an air purifier around it for that reason. Definitely wear a mask when changing it, otherwise you might breathe in some of the dust.

Great product. It smells so good and Is not dusty like other litter. It lasts a long time and my cat likes it too.

These trays are super convenient—just replace and toss, no scooping or messy cleanup. The crystal litter does a great job controlling odor and can last weeks for one cat.  The downside is cost—it adds up over time compared to traditional litter, especially with multiple cats. Bottom line: Great for convenience and cleanliness—just be ready for ongoing expense.

Great product, little an the expensive side but totally worth not having to scoop or even smell the litter box.

PetSafe ScoopFree Disposable Crystal Cat Litter The only litter for my PetSafe litter box!! This litter practically changed my life. I am beyond grateful that I have the self-cleaning litter box and this crystal litter. I was tired of the old clay litter smell. Regardless of what “scent” they have, I would walk in to my apartment and it immediately smelled like cat litter. Not necessarily the smell of the “presents” that Bear would leave, but the cat litter itself. You know what I mean, whenever you walk into someone’s house, you know they have a cat because of the smell (not stench). This litter doesn’t remind me to scoop it every time I walk in. The crystals soak the urine extremely effectively, and the feces gets scooped up with no effort on my part so that smell isn’t there either. It’s not masking the smell with perfumes, but it’s eliminating the smell. I don’t have to clean the litter box everyday. I love coming home from work being able to love on my little boy instead of scooping because the apartment no longer smells. Hmm, maybe we even have a better relationship because of it. 😆 I URGE you to try this, you’ll never go back to your old ways. Strongly recommend is an understatement.

These cartridges are so convenient and easy to change, no real mess to clean up just cover and go. I never wanted this animal and I never can smell that we have a cat even with being gone 3 weeks I came home and the house didn’t stink the wife changed it when it needed to be and that’s all it took.

Whilst these are expensive. You can change the litter and reuse the tray for 2-3 months. I've used both the disposable and the permanent tray. The disposable trays works better for raking the solids from the bed of the tray.

I have had cats all my life and have always dealt with disgusting, stinky litter pans. This is the best product ever invented. I purchased this automatic pan over a year ago and it has worked perfectly!! I order the disposable litter trays and they make cleaning the cat pan so easy! My litter pan doesn't smell anymore! I was purchasing boxes and/or jugs of "light" clumping litter almost every week any it was expensive, time-consuming and bad for the environment! Now I just change the card-board tray approximately one a month and it is so much cleaner and easier! The automatic litter tray has a "counter" on it to tell you how many times your cat/cats have used the litter pan. It also comes with an app for your phone so that you can keep track of the count or you can press the button and ask the machine to "rake" the pan once more. (I have an older cat that has recently started having the occasional bowel movements that would seriously stink out the entire house!!! Ughhh!) It comes in handy when you want to have the machine "rake" the litter sooner than the usual time you have set. Mine is set to rake the litter 15 minutes after the cat leaves the pan...on the rare occasion, I need to contain that smell a little faster! lol I saw some reviews that said their cat's urine soaked through the disposable cardboard litter tray and the cover underneath. I can tell you after using this for over a year that it has ONLY happened to me ONCE and it was my fault! Of course at some point the cardboard would become saturated. The directions explain that you have to determine when to change the litter tray according to the number of cats and according to your cat's habits. The usual time is around one month...or a certain number of trips to the pan which you will determine after your first month! The number of trips to the pan is recorded on the pan, as mentioned. When you are nearing that number you will know that it is almost time to change the litter. Makes sense right!?!? The counter on the pan gets reset at every litter change by pressing the counter button and holding it for a few seconds until it "zeros out". Also, there is an even more economical, but less convenient way to use this automatic pan. The company sells a reusable plastic pan that can be filled with bags of replacement crystal litter that they sell. It is a little bit more work each month to clean the pan but it is still MUCH easier and cleaner than scooping out a regular litter pan! I have the reusable litter pan as well. You just dump the dirty litter out and you can wipe the reusable pan and refill it! The pan stays very clean and once again very little smell and almost a month of no litter changes!!! I had a flood in by basement and the power adapter for the litter pan was damaged. The company was amazing to deal with! They are so pleasant and so very helpful! Within days I had a new adaptor and I still have lots of warranty left!! This is not a paid endorsement of any kind. I regularly order these refills for my mother's cat. They are so convenient. My mum is getting on a bit and the refills mean that she doesn't have to worry about running out of litter. I do wish they were a bit cheaper though.
